As organisations increasingly recognise the importance of diverse leadership, the need for structured leadership development for women professionals has become more important than ever. While more women are taking on leadership responsibilities across industries, representation at senior management and boardroom levels continues to remain limited. Organisations today aim to bridge this gap by empowering women leaders with strategic thinking, business acumen, and leadership capabilities required to lead organisations through an evolving business environment.
The programme aims to equip experienced women professionals with strategic leadership capabilities to prepare for senior leadership and boardroom roles.
Addressing this need, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), in collaboration with Jaro Education, has announced admissions for Batch 2 of the Strategic Leadership Programme for Women Executives. Designed for experienced women professionals and entrepreneurs, the 6–7-month blended learning programme aims to equip participants with appropriate strategy tools, a growth-oriented strategic mindset, and strong networks that will enable them to navigate workplace challenges and achieve top leadership positions in organisations.
Expressing her views on the programme, Prof. Chitra Singla, Faculty Co-chair, Strategic Leadership Programme for Women Executives, IIM Ahmedabad, said: “Women leaders today are expected to navigate increasingly complex business environments while driving strategic decision-making and organisational growth. The Strategic Leadership Programme for Women Executives has been designed to help participants strengthen these capabilities through contemporary management perspectives, practical learning, and peer engagement, enabling them to prepare for larger leadership responsibilities.”
