CMAT, the Common Management Admission Test, is a national-level test that is conducted annually. It is an online test taken for PGDM/MBA admissions, consisting of 100 questions that are equally divided into 5 sections containing 20 multiple choice questions in each. The exam is conducted by the NTA, National Testing Agency, in multiple exam centers across the nation. In total, there are 30 colleges in Delhi accepting CMAT, out of which the Top 10 will be covered. 

The 10 colleges we will cover are IMI Delhi, JIMS Technical Campus, Jamia Hamdard, NDIM, Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Periyar Management and Computer College, DPC Institute of Management, ASM Dwarka, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, and USMS IPU. The fees range from Rs. 2.4 lakhs to Rs. 20.9 lakhs. This diploma offers a variety of specializations including PGDM general, dual specialization, marketing, banking, big data analytics & healthcare management. The accepted exams for these colleges are CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, GRE, CMAT, etc. Our main focus will be on the details of CMAT.

Top Colleges in Delhi Accepting CMAT 2024: Admission Process

For most of the top colleges in Delhi that accept CMAT, participants must have a bachelor’s degree that was at least three years, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a university that is recognised in India or abroad. However, the final selection can be based on a higher cut-off percentage from the entrance exam, one of which is the CMAT, depending on the total number of candidates that applied for the diploma. 

Some colleges accept a minimum score of 35%, while others accept a minimum score of 45%. To be realistic, the safe zone is around 45% - 55%. Another criterion that is required to be met is work experience. In the end, only the final list of shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process, which is an individual assessment process (not all colleges have this part in the admission process).
