    IIM Ahmedabad GMAT Admission Process

    • Fill out the IIM Ahmedabad application form for PGPX. Applicants will be required to submit their GMAT scores along with their academic records and professional details.

    • The selection process for the PGPX 2026-27 batch is a two-stage process.

      • In the first stage, the candidates are short-listed for the Personal Interview from among the candidates who have applied to the programme.

      • The short-listed candidates are expected to submit essays on specific topics within the stipulated time period.

      • Now for the final stage of the selection process, the short- listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel of IIMA faculty members.

    • Shortlisted candidates are assessed in the Interview based on the following parameters.

    IIM A Admission Through GMAT: Eligibility Criteria

    The MBA-PGPX program at IIM A is designed for professionals who have a Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of four years of work experience. Below are the basic eligibility requirements for applying to the PGPX program:

    • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline. (Minimum 15 years of study, in 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 pattern)

    • Minimum Age of 25 years as on March 31, 2027 (i.e., must be born on or before March 31, 2002). There is no upper age limit.

    • Minimum 4 years of full-time work experience after completion of graduation as on March 31, 2027.

    • A valid GMAT /GRE score

      • GMAT /GRE scores taken within the last 5 years

      • The new GMAT Focus Edition exam scores will also be acceptable.

      • Online GMAT/GRE (take-home) exam scores are not valid; only test centre-based GMAT/GRE scores are valid.
