MICAT 2018 application form will be available only in online mode. The last date to fill MICAT - I application form 2018 is November 30, 2017 at 11.55 PM. MICAT is a national level entrance exam to get admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) programme. MICAT – I 2018 will be conducted on December 17, 2017. Candidates will have to choose one exam city as per their preference while filling up MICAT application form 2018. MICAT 2018 will be conducted twice. The better of two MICAT scores will be considered. Aspirants will have to apply separately for both MICAT - I and MICAT – II.

 

Before applying for the exam, candidates must check the MICAT 2018 eligibility criteria, as per which graduates in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for MICAT 2018. Final year Bachelors degree candidates are also eligible to apply. The applicants must have a valid score of at least one of the entrance exams among CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT (2016 onwards). Pre-requisites for MICAT 2018 Application Form

  • A desktop computer or laptop with good internet connectivity

  • A valid email address and contact details

  • A recent photograph in the prescribed size and format

  • Mark-sheets or Degree certificates (required to enter the details while filling the application form)

How to Fill MICAT Application Form 2018

 

Applicants will have to follow the steps given below while registering and paying the application fee for MICAT 2018.

New User: Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on “New Registration” button. Aspirants will have to fill up their personal, educational, and other details in the space provided in MICAT 2018 application form. Candidates should ensure that the information filled is accurate.

 

Upload your Photograph: Candidates will have to upload their latest scanned colour passport size photo in the prescribed size and format. The file should be in .jpg or .jpeg or .gif format, not exceeding 100 KB.

 

MICAT 2018 Application Fee: Aspirants must pay the application fee of Rs.1965 (for all categories).

 

Mode of Payment: The mode of application fee payment is through Credit Card/ Debit Card, Net Banking, Cash at SBI Bank, Demand Draft and Counter Payment. The detailed process of MICAT 2018 application fee is given below:

  • Payment through Credit/ Debit card Online: The candidates will be able to pay the application fee Online through Visa or Master card.

  • Payment through Net Banking: The aspirants can transfer MICAT test fee to MICA account using Net Banking option.

  • Payment through Cash at SBI: Candidates need to take a print out of the SBI Bank Challan. The Challan will have three parts. After making the payment of the exam fees at SBI Bank branch in your city, the bank will return two parts of the stamped Challan.

Aspirants can keep one receipt with them. They must sign the stamped MICA copy of the receipt and send it to the Collection Centre at the below-mentioned address:

  • Payment through Demand Draft: Create a demand draft (DD) of the test fees from any Bank in favour of MICA payable at Ahmedabad. While registering for the exam, choose the mode of Payment as DD in Make Payment Tab and click “Submit" button. A payment advice form will generated.

Aspirants can take a printout of the Payment Advice form, sign and send it along with the DD to the MICA at the following address:

  • Payment through Counter: Candidates can choose to pay the test fees at the payment counters available across various cities and make payment in cash.

Submission of MICAT Application Form 2018: After making the payment and successful registration, aspirants will receive an e-mail containing MICA Id and Password.

 

Note: Candidates can use their MICA Id and Password to make any changes in the application form of MICAT 2018.

 

The MICAT – I 2018 admit card will be available for download from December 11, 2017. Aspirants can download the MICAT – II 2018 admit card from February 9, 2018. Only registered candidates will be able to download the admit card for MICAT 2018.

 

According to MICAT 2018 exam pattern, it is a computer based test of two hours and 45 minutes duration carrying around 140 descriptive and objective questions from six sections. The section which includes Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning has a negative marking of 0.25 per cent of the total marks allotted. There is no negative marking for Descriptive and Psychometric sections. The MICAT – I 2018 result will be announced on January 3. The result of MICAT – II 2018 will be declared on February 26, 2018.
