MICAT Application Form 2018: MICA Ahmedabad, the conducting body of MICAT has released the application form of MICAT – I 2018 on September 26, 2017. MICAT 2018 application form is available only in online mode. The last date to fill MICAT - I application form 2018 is November 30, 2017 at 11.55 PM. MICAT is a national level entrance exam to get admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) programme. MICAT – I 2018 will be conducted on December 17, 2017. Candidates will have to choose one exam city as per their preference while filling up MICAT application form 2018. The application process for MICAT – II 2018 will begin from January 3, 2018, and will end on February 5, 2018. MICAT – II 2018 will be held on February 17, 2018. MICAT 2018 will be conducted twice. This is done in order to give applicants a better chance of scoring, the better score will be considered for admission. Aspirants will have to apply separately for both MICAT - I and MICAT – II.
Before applying for the exam, candidates must check the MICAT 2018 eligibility criteria, as per which graduates in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for MICAT 2018. Final year Bachelors degree candidates are also eligible to apply. The applicants must have a valid score of at least one of the entrance exams among CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT (2016 onwards). How to Fill MICAT Application Form 2018
Applicants have to follow the steps given below while registering and paying the application fee for MICAT 2018.
New User: Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on “New Registration” button. Aspirants will have to fill up their personal, educational, and other details in the space provided in MICAT 2018 application form. Candidates should ensure that the information filled is accurate.
Personal Information: Applicants have to enter personal information such as name, father/guardian's name and email address.
Education details: Candidates need to enter details of Class 10, Class 12, Graduation and Post Graduation (if applicable) percentage of marks, institute name, board/affiliating university and address in the requisite fields.
Work Experience: In case applicants have prior work experience, they have to enter the name of the company, experience in number of months and monthly compensation in the fields provided.
Select exam and GE/PI cities: Applicants have to select three cities from the 37 cities where MICAT would be conducted in order of preference. They have to also select the city for their GE-PI rounds.
Although in the drop-down list of MICAT exam cities display 39 cities in the first two preferred exam city, the third list shows only 17 cities.
Select exam: Candidates have to select the exam from CAT 2017/ XAT 2017/ GMAT (2016 onwards) in which they would appear along with MICAT 2018.
Upload Photograph: Candidates will have to upload their latest scanned colour passport size photo in the prescribed size and format. The file should be in .jpg or .jpeg or .gif format, not exceeding 80 KB.
Upload Signature: Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their signature in .jpg or .jpeg format not exceeding 80 KB.
MICAT 2018 Application Fee: Aspirants must pay the application fee of Rs.1965 (for all categories).
Mode of Payment: The mode of application fee payment is through Credit Card/ Debit Card, Net Banking, Demand Draft and Cheque. The detailed process of MICAT 2018 application fee is given below:
Payment through Credit/ Debit card Online: The candidates will be able to pay the application fee Online through Visa or Master card.
Payment through Net Banking: The aspirants can transfer MICAT test fee to MICA account using Net Banking option.
- Payment through Demand Draft or Cheque (At par or multicity): Create a demand draft (DD) of the test fees from any Bank in favour of MICA payable at Ahmedabad through BLUE DART courier along with Payment Advice Form to be filled and signed by the candidates.

Submission of MICAT Application Form 2018: After making the payment and successful registration, aspirants will receive an e-mail containing MICA Id and Password.
Note: Candidates can use their MICA Id and Password to make any changes in the application form of MICAT 2018.
The MICAT – I 2018 admit card will be available for download from December 11, 2017. Aspirants can download the MICAT – II 2018 admit card from February 9, 2018. Only registered candidates will be able to download the admit card for MICAT 2018.
According to MICAT 2018 exam pattern, it is a computer-based test of two hours and 45 minutes duration carrying around 140 descriptive and objective questions from six sections. The section which includes Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning has a negative marking of 0.25 per cent of the total marks allotted. There is no negative marking for Descriptive and Psychometric sections. The MICAT – I 2018 result will be announced on January 3. The result of MICAT – II 2018 will be declared on February 26, 2018.
