The GE & PI candidate list is prepared based on the composite score formula of 20% weightage of CAT/XAT/GMAT and 30% weightage of MICAT scores. Given below are all the factors that are considered while shortlisting candidates for the GE-PI round, as well as the weightage of all the factors that are considered while calculating the composite score.
Psychometric Test: The first section of MICAT( Psychometric Test) is the qualifying round. If a candidate fails that round, their application won’t be evaluated further.
CAT/XAT/GMAT Score Evaluation: After qualifying the psychometric test, candidates have their scores from CAT, XAT, or GMAT considered. MICA sets cutoffs for these exams to filter candidates.
MICAT Section Evaluation: Those who meet the CAT/XAT/GMAT cutoffs have their scores from Section C and Section B evaluated.
Composite Score: A composite score is calculated based on the performance from the relevant sections of MICAT and the CAT/XAT/GMAT scores.
GE & PI Shortlist: Candidates with the highest composite scores are then shortlisted for the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

On February 17, 2022, MICA, Ahmedabad, announced the MICAT 2022 result for phase 2 on mica.ac.in. Using their login credentials, candidates may check the MICAT 2022 phase 2 result. MICAT result 2022 has been emailed to applicants' registered email addresses, and students who took the entrance exam can now verify their qualifying status.
To check the result, follow the below mentioned steps:
Visit MICA Ahmedabad's main website at mica.ac.in.
Select "MICAT 1 Result" from the drop-down menu.
On the screen, a candidate login window will display.
Click the "Login" tab after entering the user ID and password.
