The following method is used by the Indian Institute of Management to calculate the IPM Indore results.

IPMAT 2025 Results (IPM): Tie-Breaking Process
In the IPMAT exam, a tie-breaking process is conducted when multiple candidates have the same composite score. The IPMAT tie-breaking process prioritises the overall IPMAT score, individual section scores (VARC, QA and DILR), Class 10 and 12 scores, the candidate who appeared in Class 10 and 2 more recently will be ranked higher, and the candidate’s date of birth (the younger candidate gets preference).
This tie-breaking process ensures a fair and objective ranking of candidates with the same composite scores and helps the IIMs select the most deserving students for their IPM programs.

IPMAT ( Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore for the admission in its five years course Integrated Program in Management Program (IPM).
One can directly appear for this exam just after completion of your 12th standard in any stream, you just need to meet the required eligibility criteria.
This exam assesses candidates in three particular domains that is quantitative aptitude (QA) , Logical reasoning (LR) and Verbal Ability ( VA) . The candidate has to meet the minimum cut off marks in all three domains. After clearing the written exam candidate will qualify for the interview round.
