The AP ICET 2026 examination is quite competitive, and hence, it is recommended that the candidates follow the study plan to cover the entire syllabus. There would be 200 questions in the examination, i.e., 75 in Analytical Ability, 70 in Communication Ability, and 55 in Mathematical Ability. The preparation should be done in sections that carry the most weightage in the examination. The Analytical Ability section in the AP ICET 2026 examination consists of 37.5% of the weightage. It is very necessary to practice the concepts of percentages, ratios and proportions, time and work, and profit and loss by trying to solve at least 50-60 arithmetic questions every week.
AP ICET Communication Ability contains 70 questions related to vocabulary, grammar, terminology, and reading comprehension. The candidates have to read editorial articles or business news for 20-30 minutes. It is the best way to improve vocabulary and speed in comprehension. It is also good to attempt 10-15 grammar questions daily to avoid mistakes in grammar-based sentence correction questions.
It is advised to attempt AP ICET mock tests at least twice a week in the final preparation phase. The total number of questions is 200, which one should attempt within 150 minutes of time. It is good to have the speed of solving questions at 1.3 questions per minute to be quick in scoring high marks.
