The MBA CAP round dates 2025 for the academic session 2025-2026 registrations have started by the CAP conducting body, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Candidates will be able to register themselves by visiting the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, till July 11, 2025. The MBA CET CAP rounds will be conducted to assign seats in the participating colleges through a merit list based on a cutoff prescribed by the college for MBA/MMS courses offered by over 300 colleges and institutes in Maharashtra. All candidates with CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT and GMAT scores will also be able to participate in the MAH MBA CET CAP rounds under the All India category. The counselling process will commence with students filling out the MBA CET CAP registration forms. MAH MBA CET exam was held on April 1, 2 and 3, 2025. After successful online MBA CET CAP round registration, candidates need to fill out an option form for choosing their preferred colleges. The option form is mandatory for participating in the CAP rounds. The number of preferred colleges can only be increased or decreased once before the MBA CAP round 1 starts. No, more colleges can be added after the MBA CAT CAP round 1. The preference, however, can be rearranged before the next MBA CET CAP round begins.

The MBA CAP round for 2025 commences after the declaration of MAH CET results. The official MBA CAP round dates have been announced on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. There will be three rounds for MBA CAP 2025.
MBA CET CAP round is a centralized admission process for MBA in CAP participating colleges. The process involves allocating the available seats to eligible candidates from a list of colleges they choose in the option form through MBA CET CAP cutoff criteria.
The option form is a preferred list of colleges chosen by the candidate while filling out the option form. The list of colleges can only be filled once. After the CAP round has started no change is allowed in the list. Only rearranging of preferences is allowed in subsequent rounds.
The registration fee for the MBA CET CAP round is Rs. 1000 for candidates belonging to the General Category. For the candidates belonging to the reserved category the MBA CAP registration fee is Rs. 800.
