What is MAH MBA CET CAP Round 2025?

The MAH CET CAP round 2025, also referred to as counselling, is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by state universities. This counselling is done for candidates to get admission to more than 300 participating institutes, which include JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, PUMBA and others.

All those candidates who have scores more than 0 in the MAH CET 2025 exam are eligible to participate in the MAH MBA CAP process by filling the CAP registration form at the Maharashtra State CET website before the deadline.

MBA CET CAP Round Registration Process

The MBA CAP round registration process comprises filling out an application form online and document verification. The registration process for the MBA CET CAP round can be completed successfully through the series of steps listed below.

1. Go to the official MAH CET MBA website.
2. On the homepage of the website, click on the CAP tab.
3. Enter personal details like name, contact information, category, correspondence address, email ID, etc.
4. Fill in educational qualifications to participate in the Centralised Admission Process i.e. MAH CET MBA CAP 2025.
5. Upload a passport-size photograph and signature. The uploaded documents should be of the right file size and format, as specified in the guidelines.
6. Enter category details (if applicable).
7. Review the MBA CET CAP Round application carefully.

8. Proceed to pay the MBA CET CAP Round registration fee. The MBA CET CAP registration fee is Rs. 1000 for General category candidates and Rs. 800 for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process after MBA CET CAP Round Registration

Once the registration is done successfully, candidates will be required to fill out a preference form to choose the courses and colleges for MBA CET CAP round 1 as per their wish. The MBA CET CAP authorities will release cutoff merit lists for CAP rounds. These lists will act as a provisional seat allotment list for CAP rounds. Candidates will be assigned seats as per their MBA CET scorecard.

Once allocated a seat, respective candidates will have to appear for CAP (Centralized Admission Process). If a candidate decides to freeze the allocated seat, he/she will have to move forward with the remaining admission process for the respective college. In case, a candidate sees a better opportunity in the future CAP rounds, they can choose the float option to vacate the seat. Generally, a total of 3 CAP rounds are conducted to allocate all the offered seats.

Candidates who have appeared for the MAH CET MBA/MMS exam do not need to pay any registration fee. However, those participating in the MBA counselling process on the basis of the CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT or ATMA scores will be required to pay the registration fees. MAH MBA CET CAP Round 2025: Key Points to Remember for Registration

The following are some of the key points that a candidate should remember while filling out the CAP registration form 2025 at the Maharashtra State CET Cell website:

• All candidates will need to select a minimum of one and a maximum of 300 choices of institutes and courses.
• Keep in mind that, after confirmation of the Option Form, no changes will be allowed to be made to it.
• In case the candidate fails to confirm the online application by E-security, then their forms will be rejected.
• Once the candidate has been allotted the seat as per his/her choice, they will need to accept the allotment. Participation in subsequent CAP rounds will not be allowed.
• Lastly, all candidates must note that the 'Seat Acceptance' fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1000 for all admitted candidates.
