How to Fill CMAT 2019 Application Form - CMAT or the Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance test conducted for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. This entrance exam was previously administered by AICTE and from 2019 onwards, it will be officially administered by NTA or National Testing Agency. In this article, we will look at how to fill the CMAT Applciation Form 2019.
The application window for the national level management entrance exam has started from November 1. Only eligible candidates must apply for the test before the deadline of November 30, 2018. The application form has a five-step process and is completely online. Applicants have to first register and login with valid credentials on the website. Let us have a look at the eligibility criteria of CMAT 2019.
As per the criteria, candidates must have a recognised graduation degree with minimum percentage 50 percenr (45 percent for SC/ST). Final year graduation students also apply. The CMAT application process broadly has five steps:

In order to fill the CMAT 2019 Application Form, candidates first need to create an account in which they have to upload scanned picture and signature while following the Registration Form.
Before understanding how to fill CMAT application form, candidates must keep the following pre-requisites ready:
A valid e-mail id and mobile number
All qualification details you need to enter in the CMAT 2019 application form, such as graduation marks
Scanned photograph (between 10-200 kb), and scanned signature with dimensions (size between 4-30 kb)
A valid Credit / Debit card in case you want to pay online
Last, a printer to print 3 copies of challan, in case you are planning to pay by cash at bank
Step 1: Apply for Online Registration
Visit the official website, and click on the tab –Apply to register as a new candidate for CMAT 2019.
Click on the 'Download Information Bulletin' to download the PDF of instructions before proceeding to fill the form. Read it carefully to ensure your eligibility and acquaint with the requirements for submission of Online Application Form.
Candidates must note that no correction can be made at a later stage after submission of an application. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application including e-mail etc.
Step 2: Fill Online Application Form
Let us look at the first step of how to register for CMAT 2019. Fill up the registration form of CMAT NTA by entering the mandatory fields with personal information like name, parents' name, date of birth, category, gender, phone number, email address. You will also be required to enter Type of Identification number (last 4 digits in case of Aadhar card). Supply all the details while filling the Online Application Form.
The next step of how to fill application of CMAT 2019 is to create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter your Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form. Note it down somewhere if needed (it will also be sent via SMS to the registered mobile number) and will also be required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, use the same Application Number and created Password to login. Click on the Final Submit button. The registration process of CMAT 2019 is complete after this step and candidates can proceed to fill the rest of the application form from here onwards.

Complete the application form of CMAT 2019 by selecting if you are disabled or not. Also select the appropriate option if you are diabetic or not. Next, select upto four exam cities where you wish to appear for the CMAT 2019 exam.

Enter the security pin exactly as given and click on Submit button. Candidates will be asked to review the information once before final submission.
Step 3: Upload Scanned Photograph and Signature:
Now it is time to upload the scanned photograph and digital signature of the candidate.
1. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and the size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
2. Size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb. 4. The photograph should be coloured or black/white (but clear contrast). Note: Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction in images will not be given.
Enter the security PIN as given and click the box after verifying the images. Click on 'Upload' and proceed to the next step of fee payment.
Step 4: Pay Examination Fee
The payment process has to be completed through online or offline modes. Under the online mode of payment, the application fee can be paid by credit/debit card or net banking, In the offline mode, candidates can pay by cash through challan at State Bank of India branch by submitting challan. The instructions for the offline mode of payment is as follows.
The fee for General / OBC candidates appearing for CMAT is Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable; whereas for Female /SC/ST/PWD category candidates fee is Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.

Press the 'Click here' button to complete the payment from whichever mode is convenient. An OTP will be generated on the mobile number in case of card payment. After paying the CMAT application fee, candidates will receive a message of the payment. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and amount will be refunded to the candidate's account. However the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
A copy of the final application form in the form of PDF will be sent to the email ID. Also, a confirmation will be sent via SMS after the payment is made. Candidates are requested to retain a copy of the same for future reference. This copy is not the CMAT admit card and must not be sent to the Board. Only those candidates, who successfully complete the process, will be able to download the CMAT 2019 admit card from January 7, 2019 by the officials. The candidates have to download the admit card, take the print, and carry the same at the test centre as a proof of registration. Now that candidates know how to fill the CMAT application form 2019, it is also important to keep track of the important dates of CMAT exam in order to stay updated with the events of the exam.
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be conducted in two shifts - First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM) on January 28, 2019. CMAT result will be declared on February 8, 2019, in the form of score cards on the official website.
