National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CMAT 2025 application form on November 14, 2024. Candidates can fill out the CMAT application form on the official website of the NTA by paying the CMAT registration fees 2025 of Rs. 2,500 for general candidates and Rs. 1,250 for reserved candidates. Candidates who passed a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an approved university or are in the final year of graduation can fill out the form on or before the CMAT form last date, ie. December 25, 2024. The last date to pay the CMAT registration fees 2025 is December 25, 2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are only eligible for the CMAT exam. How to Fill Up CMAT Form Online
While filling out the CMAT exam form 2025, one should upload the requisite documents and pay the application fee. The CMAT 2025 application is a five-step process. While filling out the application form, one should register first to generate login credentials. Read the full article to know the step-by-step process of how to fill out the CMAT 2025 application form.
CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025
As per CMAT eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with 50 percent marks in total aggregate. Those who belong to the reserved category (i.e., SC/ST) need to secure 45 percent, while those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2025.
Documents to keep ready before filling out the CMAT application form
Before filling out the application form for CMAT 2025, one should keep the following documents ready with them:
- A valid email ID and mobile number
- All qualification details, such as graduation marks, which one needs to enter in the CMAT 2025 application form
- Scanned copies of photograph (file size should be 10 KB to 200 KB) and signature (file size should be between 4 KB to 30 KB)
- Debit/credit card details to pay the application fee in online mode
- Take three copies of printed calls in case candidates are planning to pay the application fee by cash at the bank.

How to fill CMAT application form 2025: Detailed Process
Firstly, one will have to visit the CMAT registration 2025 official website and click on "Online Registration” to generate login credentials.
Step 1 - Click on “Register as a new candidate for CMAT 2025”
One will have to visit the official website of CMAT NTA and click on; Apply to register as a new candidate for CMAT 2025
Now candidates will have to click on ‘Download Information Bulletin’ to download the PDF, which will consist of all the instructions related to CMAT 2025. Read all instructions carefully, and most importantly, check the eligibility criteria and become acquainted with all the requirements for the submission of the CMAT 2025 online application form.
Candidates must note that there will be no correction window available after the closing of the registration window. No changes will be entertained in offline mode as well.
Step 2 - Fill Online Application Form
Candidates will have to fill the CMAT registration form by entering a few personal details, such as parent’s name, date of birth (DOB), category, gender, phone number, email address, etc. Candidates will be required to enter the type of identification number.
After entering such details, candidates will have to create a password, choose a security question and enter their answer (it will help during password retrieval). After submission of the required registration details, an application number will be generated, which will be used to complete the remaining process of the CMAT 2025 application form. Note down the application number and keep it safe.
Candidates will get an application number via SMS to their registered number. For subsequent logins, candidates can use the same application number and password. Now click on the ‘Final’ submit button. The registration process is completed after clicking on the ‘Submit’ tab and candidates can proceed to fill the rest of the CMAT 2025 application form.
Review all the entered details before pressing the final submit tab.
Complete the CMAT 2025 application form by selecting whether you are disabled or not. Now select whether you are diabetic or not. After selecting such details, candidates will have to select four exam cities where they wish to appear for the CMAT 2025 entrance test.
Now enter the following graduation details:
- Passing status
- Degree and University name
- Year of passing
- Secured CGPA
- Grading type
Now enter the security pin and click on the “Submit” button. Candidates will be asked to review all the entered information before final submission.
Step 3 - Upload Scanned Photograph and Signature
- Now upload the scanned photograph; the file size should be 10 KB to 200 KB. The file format should be jpg or jpeg. Photographs should be coloured or in black-and-white format (the contrast should be clear).
- Now upload a scanned signature, which should be 4 KB to 30 KB.
Note - Correction window for Photograph and Signature will not be available after closing the application window.
Now fill in the captcha code and click the box after verifying the images. Click on the ‘Upload’ tab to proceed to the next step of fee payment.
Step 4 - Pay Application Fee
Candidates can pay the application fee via online or offline mode. If a candidate chooses an online mode of payment, they can pay the application fee by using credit/ debit card or they can also use net banking. Male candidates from the general category have to pay Rs. 2,500 as CMAT application fees. The CMAT exam fee for female applicants and reserved candidates is Rs. 1,250.
If candidates choose the offline mode, then they have to pay the application fee in cash through a challan at the State Bank of India branch by submitting a challan. The instructions for paying the application fee are as follows:
Select the mode of payment.
Click Confirm
Now select the mode of online payment option. The following options will be available:
- Card payment
- Net banking
- UPI
- SBI Branch
Now press the ‘Click Here’ tab to select the payment mode. An OTP will be generated on the registered mobile number of the candidate who chooses the card payment option. After paying the CMAT 2025 application fee, candidates will receive a confirmation payment. If the confirmation page does not appear on the computer screen, then the amount will be refunded to the same account.
A copy of the application form in the form of a PDF will be sent to the registered email ID. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the CMAT 2025 application for future reference.
Those who will fill out the application form successfully will be able to download the admit card of CMAT 2025 from the official website. Candidates have to download their admit card by using credentials, take a printout of it, and carry it along with photo ID proof to the exam centre.

For the 2025 admissions, NIBM Pune's CMAT cutoff for the NC-OBC category is expected to be around the 88th percentile. Your 80th percentile score is below this threshold, making admission less likely.
