SET BBA Test 2 – Section-wise Analysis 2024
General Overview
The test will have 60 questions in total.
Sections include: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness.
No negative marking; all questions will carry one mark.
No sectional time limits; candidates are free to navigate across questions.
Test structure will be consistent with Slot 1 in terms of number of questions per section.
General English (16 Questions)
The section followed the same pattern as Slot 1 with 1 poem-based question and idioms/proverbs.
Two questions each were asked on idioms/proverbs and figures of speech such as metaphor.
Around 7 questions were from grammar, including prepositions and conjunctions.
Vocabulary questions (4) were direct and easy to eliminate using options.
The options in some questions were simpler in Slot 2, helping students save time.
The level of difficulty was easy to moderate, mainly moderate for first-time test takers.
Overall, it was a scoring and less time-consuming section.
Quantitative Aptitude (16 Questions)
The section was similar to Slot 1 with a slightly different question distribution.
Arithmetic had 5 questions (including topics like percentages and profit-loss), slightly lengthy but not difficult.
Modern Maths had 5 questions including logarithms, permutations & combinations, and probability.
Geometry questions included floor tiling (based on dimensions) and triangles (basic properties).
Algebra had 2 questions involving basic equations; one question was reportedly ambiguous.
One number system question and one DI (Data Interpretation) question were asked; both were straightforward.
The section was easy to moderate, mainly due to a few lengthy arithmetic questions.
General Awareness (16 Questions)
This section was slightly more difficult than Slot 1.
10 questions were from Static GK and 6 from Current Affairs.
Static GK included questions on youngest PM, vice-chancellors, and species of cheetah.
Current affairs included questions on Brazil’s president, G20 Summit, National Parks, and awards.
While many questions were direct, overall coverage was broader and less predictable.
Around 6–7 questions were based on familiar content from SET mocks.
The section was moderate to difficult.
Analytical & Logical Reasoning (12 Questions)
More verbal reasoning questions (around 6) appeared than in Slot 1.
Coding-decoding had 1 question (less than Slot 1); no ambiguities reported this time.
Standard reasoning topics included clocks, calendars, blood relations, number series, and linear arrangements.
Verbal reasoning topics were increased slightly; logical questions were direct.
The section was easy to moderate and aligned closely with Slot 1.
Overall Analysis
The paper pattern and structure were nearly identical to Slot 1 of SET BBA 2024 with 90–95% similarity.
There were no technical issues or surprises in interface or navigation.
Minor variations were observed in a few sections (e.g., English was slightly easier, GK slightly tougher).
No section-wise time limits or negative marking allowed test-takers to optimize strategy.
The paper was overall easy to moderate.
