Candidates who apply for admission to the participating institutes of MAT 2025 must check the selection process of such colleges. Normally, such institutes undertake the following rounds:

Some of the MAT participating institutes might conduct all three rounds, while others might just undertake two rounds to shortlist candidates to whom they will offer admission.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) will release the MAT result for the February session in online mode in the last week of March 2025. Candidates will have to use their MAT login ID and password to check their respective results.

Meaning of MAT, SAT and NMMS Exam Pattern

1. MAT (Mental Ability Test):
It checks logical thinking, reasoning ability, patterns, series, puzzles, and problem-solving skills of students.

2. SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test):
It tests knowledge of subjects like Science, Social Science, and Mathematics that students study in school.

3. Number of Questions in NMMS Exam:

  • MAT section → 90 questions

  • SAT section → 90 questions

  • Total → 180 questions
