TS ICET Counselling 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the TS ICET 2026 counselling, candidates must check the AP ICET counselling eligibility criteria.

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. They must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.

• Qualified for the TS ICET 2026 examination.

• Bachelor's degree of at least 3 years' duration from a recognised university.

• Minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree.

• The age of the candidates should not be more than 30 years as of July 01, 2026, for the OC category and 34 years for other categories.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct the TS ICET counselling 2026. TS ICET Counselling online registration: First, the candidates need to register themselves for the TS ICET 2026 counselling. To register for the TS ICET counselling, candidates can go to the official website, enter their TS ICET Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth. Fill out the TS ICET counselling registration form with the required details to complete your registration.

TS ICET Counselling Slot Booking: Candidates are required to book a slot at their preferred Helpline Centre (HLC) for document verification. The TS ICET slot booking system allows applicants to choose a convenient date and time for the certificate verification.

Certificate Verification for TS ICET 2026 Counselling: After the TS ICET slot booking, candidates have to go to the designated helpline centre with their documents. Candidates must present their original academic and personal documents for verification. Only candidates whose certificates are successfully verified can proceed to the next stage of counselling.

TS ICET web options 2026: Once the certificate verification is complete, candidates can log in to the TS ICET counselling portal to access the web options entry page. Candidates can now select and prioritise their preferred MBA colleges. After finalising the college list, submit and lock the web options. Once the option entry period ends, no further changes will be allowed.

TS ICET 2026 Seat Allotment: Authorities have released the provisional TS ICET 2026 seat allotment list. Candidates are allotted seats as per their TS ICET Rank, category, College preferences filled during web options entry, and seats available at the colleges. Candidates will be able to download their allotment letter from the candidates' login.

Tuition Fee Submission & Self-Reporting: To accept the seat allotted via the TS ICET counselling 2026, candidates will be required to pay the requisite fee. Once they click on ‘Accept my Joining,’ the admission number will be generated. Candidates should take a printout of the same to be submitted to the allotted college within the specified dates.

TS ICET Category Documents 2026

CAP: Certificate issued by Zila Sainik Welfare Officer. In the case of ex-servicemen, an Identity Card (ID) card and a service discharge book will be required to complete the verification.

Minority: A Minority status certificate from the headmaster.

NCC & Sports: Certificate issued by a competent authority.

PHC: Disability equal to or more than 40 per cent. The certificate must be issued by the District Medical Board.

TS ICET 2026 Counselling Schedule: Phase 1 and Final Phase

The TS ICET 2026 counselling process will be conducted in two phases.

• During Phase 1 of the TS ICET counselling, candidates complete registration, certificate verification, web option entry, and seat allotment. After the first allotment, candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat can complete admission formalities.

• The Final Phase counselling is conducted for candidates who did not receive a seat, were absent in the first phase, or wish to secure admission in a better-preferred college. Fresh web option entry may be allowed during the final phase, providing candidates another opportunity to improve their allotment.

Candidates should select colleges according to their TS ICET rank range to maximise their admission prospects. Those with ranks below 1,000 can target top MBA institutions in Telangana. Candidates with ranks between 1,000 and 5,000 may focus on reputed private and university-affiliated colleges.

Students with ranks between 5,000 and 15,000 should include a balanced list of mid-tier and emerging institutions. Candidates with ranks above 15,000 can still secure admission in several private colleges and should fill a larger number of options to improve their chances during multiple counselling rounds. Withdrawing from the TS ICET Counselling 2026

If a candidate wishes to withdraw their allotted seat from the TS ICET counselling 2026. They can surely do so, but within a stipulated time frame as prescribed by the authorities. To cancel/withdraw the seat, candidates will need to report to the convenor in person or by registered post and submit the documents mentioned below.

• Receipt of a certificate issued at the time of document verification from the allotted help centres.
