    The IIFT waitlists movements are handled in 2 phases- External waitlists and Internal waitlists movements. External waitists move when the candidates reject the IIFT admission offer entirely. Internal movement occurs when candidates are upgraded from their lower-preference campus (eg. Kolkata) to a higher preference (eg Delhi) as the seats open up.

    Any update can be shared on a student’s registered email id or student portal regarding the IIFT results 2026.
