The IIM Indore study of Sooryavanshi is inspired by conversations around the teenage cricketer's meteoric rise and the pressures that often accompany early success. According to IIM Indore Director Himanshu Rai, Vaibav perfectly fits the IIM Case study idea which is part of the IIM teaching process. He looks at the case of Sooryavanshi not only as the cricketing achievement but at the same time an important study of human potential talent , development discipline , mental toughness and long term excellence. He emphasised the fact that there have been a lot of examples where the child prodigies have witnessed the burning out because of societal pressure and unable to handle that thing. They became victims of mental fatigue. He hopes that this study will focus on how societal pressure, early fame and financial stress affect mentally and as an individual overall.
