Total | 60 | 60 | Easy to moderate |
A candidate’s exam journey doesn’t end with attempting the test. They must also ensure that they participate in a comprehensive analysis of the SNAP examination that they have taken. As a candidate who has appeared in test 3 of the SNAP examination, candidates should ensure that they are aware of the slot 1 and slot 2 analysis of the SNAP examination and prepare accordingly.
The General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was the most easiest section as per the feedback of the students. This was in alignment with the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper and the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper. Out of 15, experts have hinted 10-12 to be the number of best attempts in this section with an accuracy of 90- 95%.
As far as the General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper is concerned, the candidates were asked questions from a wide range of topics such as idioms, synonyms and antonyms, figure of speech and fill-in-the-blanks.
There were no para jumble questions asked in the General English Section. This
The General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was easy to doable, but the Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude questions were time-consuming.
There were no Reading comprehension questions.
The Logical Reasoning section was lengthy compared to both the SNAP 2024 test 1 and test 2 question papers. While the questions were doable in nature, the length of the questions was large and hence it was time-consuming. This section greatly constituted the overall lengthy nature of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper.
One noticeable change in the analytical and reasoning section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 examination was that there was no question on clocks while two questions were asked from the calendar topic.
The logical reasoning section also included 2 questions on the series. One was numeric based while the other was alphanumeric.
In the Logical Reasoning section, there were 3-4 questions based on truth and lies.
The Logical Reasoning questions were heavily focused on assumption-based questions. There were also 2- 3 questions on causes and effects.
In the logical reasoning section of the SNAP 2024 test 3, the candidates were asked 2 questions on arrangement. One question was asked based on phrase coding which was a surprise.
One question on syllogism was also asked in the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper.
The Quantitative Aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 question paper was arithmetic-dominated. There were questions asked on the topics such as number systems, quadratic equations, mensuration and percentages. The difficulty level of the quantitative aptitude section was in alignment with the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper.
The quantitative aptitude questions were do-able but lengthy which was a major concern of the candidates.
There were 2 -3 questions from mensuration which included lengthy calculations.
The candidates were asked one question from the Time, Speed and Distance topic and mixture and alligations.
There were also two questions from the time and work topic in the Quantitative Aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 3 examination.
The two questions on percentages were based on successive percentages and normal percentages. This was also observed in the SNAP 2024 slot 2 question paper.
A few important observations from test 3 of the SNAP 2024 examination are given below for the reference of the candidates.
The SNAP 2024 test 3 followed the same exam pattern as SNAP 2023 test 1 and test 2.
Similar to the previous tests, the General English section was considered to be the easiest. Out of the 15 questions asked in this set, the candidates had around 10 easy-level questions that could be solved. A good attempt of 11- 13 questions in this section can help the candidates boost their SNAP 2024 percentile.
In the General English section questions were asked from topics such as Tense, Idiom, Passive form, Correct statement, Figure of speech, Part of sentence, Noun, Adverb/Adjective, Model filler, Prefix, Compound word, Conditional statement, Proverb, Filler and Antonym.
The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section also had 25 questions which were also placed under the easy to difficult level. The candidates were expected to score between 16 - 20 marks in this section to secure a good SNAP percentile score.
From both the verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions asked under the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section of the SNAP 2023 examination, questions were asked from the following sub-topics: Cause-Effect, Statement & Assumption, Visual reasoning, Clock and calendar, Blood relation, Odd one out, Analogy (number based), Statement & Course of Action, Binary logic, Word arrangement, Statement & Conclusion, Passage (Conclusion), Arrangement and Series
Out of all the tests, the Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency section proved to be the challenging set. While questions were not of very high difficulty, they were still placed under the moderate level. There were a few time-consuming questions among the 20 questions asked in this section.
Questions from the Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency were taken from the sub-topics such as Profit & loss, Series, TSD, Logarithm, Data Interpretation, Ratio, Simple Interests -Compound Interests, Percentage, PnC, Set, LCM & HCF, Averages and Age.
As the number of days for the final SNAP examination is limited, mock tests are powerful preparation tools that can help candidates enhance their SNAP 2024 preparation. SNAP mock tests can help the candidates check their exam readiness and overall preparation level. Careers360 has designed a computer-based SNAP mock test for all the SNAP aspirants. After the mock test, a comprehensive analysis is provided to the candidates and they can review a lot of information such as their pace, accuracy level, time spent on each question and much more. We heavily request candidates to go attempt the mock test and asses their preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
SNAP is generally considered to be a moderately difficult examination. While SNAP is not as difficult as the CAT examination, time constraint is one of the challenging aspect of the SNAP examination. The candidates are required to finish attempting 60 questions in an hour and this is one of the highlights of the SNAP examination.
The highest score for the SNAP examination is 60. For every right answer one mark is awarded.
Any candidate who prepares for the CAT examination might find SNAP as a difficult examination. While SNAP has its own difficulty level, it can be mastered with dedicated efforts of the candidates. They can refer to the previous year’s SNAP question papers to have a better understanding of the examination structure and align their SNAP 2025 preparation based on it.
Yes. In the SNAP examination, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates should be mindful of this and ensure that they give only educated guesses when they are completely confident of it.
While the SNAP cut-offs usually revolves around various factors such as SNAPeam difficulty, number of candidates who attended the test and so on, it is safe to say that the candidates should secure a minimum of 97-98 percentile to ensure admissions to top Symbiosis business schools such as SIBM Pune. A valid SNAP score is accepted by 15 SIU Universities.

Yes, you can definitely prepare better for the SNAP Quantitative Ability section by keeping a complete formula list with you. Instead of memorising everything randomly, it helps to organise formulas chapter-wise so you can revise faster.
Here is a useful formula list for the SNAP Quant section:
1. Arithmetic
• Percentages → % = (Value/Total) × 100
• Profit & Loss → Profit = SP − CP | Loss = CP − SP
• Discount → SP = MP − Discount
• Simple Interest → SI = (P × R × T) / 100
• Compound Interest → A = P (1 + R/100)^T
2. Ratio & Proportion / Mixtures
• Ratio → a : b = a/b
• Mixture formula → (Quantity × Difference) rule (Alligation)
3. Time, Speed & Distance
• Speed = Distance / Time
• Time = Distance / Speed
• Relative Speed → Same direction: (A − B), Opposite direction: (A + B
• Average speed → (2AB) / (A + B)
4. Time & Work
• Work = Rate × Time
• If A does work in X days → 1 day work = 1/X
• A and B together → 1/x + 1/y formula
5. Numbers
• HCF × LCM = Product of two numbers (for two integers)
• Divisibility rules (2,3,5,9 etc.)
• Sum of n natural numbers → n(n + 1)/2
6. Algebra
• (a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab
• (a − b)² = a² + b² − 2ab
• a² − b² = (a + b)(a − b)
• Quadratic Equation → x = [−b ± √(b² − 4ac)] / 2a
7. Geometry / Mensuration
• Area of triangle → 1/2 × base × height
• Area of circle → πr²
• Circumference → 2πr
• Surface area of cuboid → 2(lb + bh + hl)
• Volume of cylinder → πr²h
8. Probability & Permutation
• Probability → Favourable / Total outcomes
• Permutation → nPr = n! / (n − r)!
• Combination → nCr = n! / [r! (n − r)!]
9. Data Interpretation
• Percentage change → ((New − Old) / Old) × 100
• Average → Sum of values / Number of values
If you revise these formulas along with short practice every day, your speed in SNAP Quant improves a lot. If you want, I can also share a chapter-wise important question list for quick practice.
All the best.
Hi there,
You have to apply separately for each symbiosis college, like SIBM Pune, as they as not automatically included. The CAT form automatically includes many IIMs, but the SNAP exam is a separate test that is given for admission to Symbiosis Institute, which requires its own separate application and fee.
Hope it helps!!!
Hello,
No, you don’t need to appear for SNAP for a PG Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie.
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is only for admission to MBA/PGDM programs in Symbiosis institutes. A PG Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie is a vocational/skill-based course , not an MBA. Admission usually depends on 10+2 marks, graduation, or the institute’s own entrance/interview .
Hope it helps !
With a 70 percent in CAT Examination, you can go for various B-Schools or private collages. The S. K. Patel Institute of Management in Gandhinagar is an option for those who score 70-80 percent in their CAT examination or The Gujarat Institute of Management (GIM) in Goa with a cutoff of 60-80 percentage. These are the collages you can look for in Gujarat or nearby.
Collage in other regions: BA Colleges Accepting 70-80 Percentile in CAT 2025
Thank You.
Top MBA colleges based on CAT, XAT, SNAP, and NMAT scores include some of India’s best institutions. For CAT, the IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta) and FMS Delhi are highly regarded. XAT results in prestigious colleges like XLRI Jamshedpur and XIMB. SNAP is known for Symbiosis Institutes, such as SIBM Pune and SCMHRD. NMAT scores open doors to NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR Mumbai, and ISB Hyderabad. Each exam has unique eligibility requirements, and their cutoffs vary, so it's important to research the specific criteria and select based on your preferences and strengths.
