SNAP Exam 2024 Test 2 Analysis
As the SNAP 2024 test 2 slot 1 examination concluded, initial responses of the candidate are coming out. The following analysis can be made from them.
SNAP 2024 Test 2 Analysis: General English
- The SNAP 2024 General English section also followed the same difficulty level of the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper. The difficulty level was easy to medium and most of the questions were doable in nature.
- Similar to the 2024 SNAP test 1 examination conducted on 5th December 2024, the General English section of the SNAP 2024 test 2 examination was dominated by grammar questions. There were 8-9 questions on grammar.
- There were no questions related to Reading Comprehension.
- In the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper, there were 2-3 questions from vocabulary.
- The SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper also included 4 questions under the match the following category.
- The candidates were also asked 2-3 questions on synonyms and antonyms in the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper.
- However, the candidates were asked four to five questions on grammar. The SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper was also grammar-centric.
- The candidates were also asked questions on figure of speech. This was around 2-3 in number.
SNAP 2024 Test 2 Analysis: Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning
- This analytical and logical reasoning section of the SNAP examination was also in par with the previous year's SNAP examination structure and difficulty. In the SNAP 2024 test 1 examination, the candidates were asked questions easy to moderate-level questions in this section. The same difficulty level is also followed in this test.
- The candidates were asked questions on topics such as calendars, analogy and blood relations.
- Similar to the test 1 examination, the candidates were asked a lot of questions from the critical reasoning section. This time around 5 - 6 questions were asked from this section.
- In the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper, 2 questions were asked from the blood relation topic of the logical reasoning questions.
- There was one question on the Input/Output type problem and a clock question on finding the degree.
- Deeper analysis into the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper shows that, the candidates were asked one question on number series, one on alphanumeric series, one on analogy, 2-3 questions on binary logic and a question on inference.

- The SNAP 2024 test 2 analysis shows that the quantitative aptitude section was the most difficult out of all the three sections of the SNAP 2024 test 2 examination. While most of the questions were of moderate difficulty, they were difficult to solve within the given time constraints as the questions were lengthy. When compared to the SNAP 2024 test 1 question paper, the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper can be concluded to be a bit more on the difficult side.
- The SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper was arithmetic-dominated.
- In the SNAP 202 test 1 examination, the candidates were asked 1 -2 questions from averages.
- The SNAP 202 test 1 analysis also shows that ratio and proportion had a good weightage of 2-3 questions.
- One of the major differences from the SNAP 202 test 1 question paper was that the test 2 question paper had two questions from Data Interpretation while the SNAP 202 test 1 question paper had no questions from DI. This was a pie chart-based question with data given in the form of percentages.
- The second type of DI question in the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper was a bar graph question.
- Further analysis into the Quantitative Aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper indicates that the candidates were asked 2 questions on mixture and alligation, one question on time and work and one question from the mensuration section. This was the overall division of the arithmetic section question distribution of the SNAP 202 examination.
- From the algebra section of the quantitative aptitude section of the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper, questions were asked about concepts such as equations and logarithms.
- 1-2 questions on probability and a question on permutation and combination were asked to the candidates under the modern math section of the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper.
SNAP Exam 2024 Test 2: Memory-Based Questions
Verbal Ability
One idiom question on burying the hatchet was asked.
Another idiom question on matching the idioms based on their meanings was asked with questions such as Don’t count your eggs before they hatch.
One Verbal Ability question on finding the apt word that means ‘disturb’ was asked.
One statement like ‘snake hissed’ was asked and the poetic device used in it was asked to the candidates.
One complete the sentence question ‘My boss is _______ on impressing people” [Ans: Keen].
Six sentences were given and the candidates were asked to find the arrange them in chronological order.
There was one question on preposition and conjunction.
Another question was based on three complex words, Plump, droll, stout, corpulent.
Quantitative Aptitude
One time and distance question on time and work starting with P and Q takes 144/5 hours to complete the work together. The individual timings were asked.
A time, speed and distance question on A person travelling at 10 km/hr was given. The candidates had to answer this question using both the time, speed and distance and AP and GP concepts.
There was also one question on successive discounts. The candidates were given two strategies and were asked to find out the best strategy among them.
A question on trigonometry with the value Sin 47+ cos 77 was given.
In the SNAP 2024 test 2 question paper, the candidates were asked one question on height and distance.

SNAP 2023 Test 2 Analysis
The analysis of the SNAP 2023 test 2 examination is given below. The candidates are encouraged to go through them because, in recent years, SNAP has been observed to follow similar trends across the years. Having a strong idea of what happened during the SNAP 2023 test 2 examination will be beneficial to the candidates because this would help them to gain an idea of what to expect during the actual SNAP 2024 test 2 examination.
The SNAP 2023 test 2 examination was held on 17th December 2023, Sunday.
The SNAP 2023 test 2 examination followed the same format as that of the SNAP 2023 test 1 with 60 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
The SNAP 2023 examination for test 2 says that the difficulty of the examination was the difficulty levels of the SNAP 2023 test 1 examination. However, some candidates expressed that the difficulty level of the quantitative aptitude section was slightly higher when compared to the first slot.
There were no sectional cutoffs or time limits as expected.
The negative marking for each wrong answer continued to be the same, 0.25.
Across all the sections, there were a good number of questions that were easy and doable.
The General English section was considered to be the easiest section and the number of good attempts in this section was seen to be between 13 -15.
Similarly, the Analytical and Logical Reasoning also had questions that were of easy to doable difficulty. Experts observed that the number of good attempts has to be between 16-19 can be advantageous for the candidates.
The Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, however, remained more difficult than the other sections. A well-prepared candidate might not find this section to be too challenging.
When compared to the SNAP test 1 2023, the test 2 question papers had more questions from geometry and mensuration while test 1 focused more on number systems. 3 questions were asked about time, speed and distance, 2 each from profit and loss, average and mixtures, ratio and other miscellaneous topics.
SNAP Exam 2024 Test 1 Analysis
- It is beneficial for the candidates to understand the analysis of test 1 of the SNAP examination to understand the exam difficulty and what to expect during the test 2 examination. An overview of the SNAP exam test 1 analysis is given below.
- The General English and Analytical and Logical Reasoning sections were easy to moderate, with the General English examination being the easiest.
- The quantitative aptitude section was more difficult and time-consuming than SNAP 2023. The majority of questions were asked about algebra and arithmetic, and there were no questions about Data Interpretation.
- SNAP 2024 test 1 questions have topics such as Mensuration, Geometry, Ratio and Proportion, Interests and Progressions.
- In the analytical and logical reasoning section, the candidates were asked the majority of the questions from the critical reasoning topic.
- Most of the questions from the analytical and reasoning section were direct and easy.
- The candidates received questions from topics such as calendars, arrangements, blood relation, syllogism and coding and decoding sections.
