What is the IIM Kozhikode BMS Aptitude Test?

The BMS Aptitude Test is a management entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode, for admission to its three-year Bachelor of Management Studies program. This IIMK BMS AT 2025 assesses the quantitative and verbal ability skills of the candidates. The BMS Aptitude Test was conducted at around 25 designated centers across India.

Eligibility Criteria for IIM Kozhikode BMS Aptitude Test 2025

To appear for the IIM Kozhikode BMS Aptitude Test, candidates had to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must have successfully completed their Class 12 or completed 10 years of schooling in any discipline recognized by the relevant boards of the Government of India (GOI).
• To be eligible for IIM Kozhikode BMS admission, candidates had to submit original mark sheets and certificates on or before August 1, 2025.
• Age Limit: There was no age restriction to apply for the IIMK BMS AT exam 2025.

NOTE: Selection for this BMS programme will be based on the applicants' previous educational qualifications, scores obtained in the BMS AT entrance exam, and a personal interview.

IIM Kozhikode BMS Admission Process 2025

The IIMK BMS admission process involves several stages, including an aptitude test, a personal interview, and an academic performance assessment. The IIM Kozhikode BMS selection process includes

• Stage I: BMS Aptitude Test or Valid Alternative Test Scores (JEE Main/SAT/ACT)
• Stage II: Academic performance in Class 10, 12/Diploma
• Stage III: Personal Interview Score

IIM Kozhikode BMS Aptitude Test 2025

Candidates appeared for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT 2025) on June 22. This test consisted of two sections that assessed the candidate's ability in verbal and quantitative skills. This BMS exam was in multiple-choice format and was conducted at designated centers. It was conducted as a computer-based exam. The authorities released the IIMK BMS answer key along with the question paper on June 27, 2025.

Shortlisting for Personal Interview

The candidates will be shortlisted for PI in each category based on their Aggregate Index Score (AIS). AIS is calculated based on the BMS AT score and academic performance in class XII/diploma or equivalent and marks obtained in class 10.

Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who are shortlisted will have to appear for a personal interview (PI). IIM Kozhikode will conduct personal interviews at

The entire process lasts half a day (morning or afternoon). During the PI process, the team will evaluate candidates' academic efforts and mindset, general awareness and social mindset, attitude, personality and communication skills, and overall suitability for the project.

Final Selection for IIM Kozhikode BMS Admission 2025

• After the personal interview concluded, the final score will be calculated based on the marks allotted in the PI, BMS entrance exam score, and the past academic performance.
• The IIM Kozhikode BMS merit list will be created for each category using the final scores.
• IIMK BMS admission offers will be given to candidates based on the merit list, following the reservation norms of the Government of India (GOI).

Can I get admission in the IIM Kozhikode BMS programme without the BMS aptitude test?

Candidates with a valid score on the JEE (Main), SAT, or ACT were exempted from appearing in the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test. Such candidates were shortlisted based on their accepting test scores. Candidates had to ensure that valid entrance exam score was submitted at the time of the IIM Kozhikode BMS application

NOTE: This exam had be completed on or before June 20, 2025.
