On Question asked by student community
Hello,
If you are planning to join L.D. College for a postgraduate program like MBA or MCA, whether you need to give CMAT depends on the course.
For MBA admission, CMAT is generally required, as most colleges use CMAT scores for merit-based admission.
For MCA or other PG computer courses, CMAT is usually not required; colleges often consider your BCA marks or conduct their own entrance test.
Since CMAT 2026 registration has started, you only need to register if your intended course specifically requires CMAT scores. Otherwise, focus on the college’s internal admission process.
Check the exact course at L.D. College CMAT is only mandatory for MBA, not for MCA.
I hope you find this helpful!!!
Thanks
Hello,
Yes, you will likely need to pass CMAT 2026 to be eligible for an MCA at LD College, as it is a common entrance exam for MCA programs. To be eligible for CMAT, you must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline or be in your final year of graduation. For admission to the MCA program itself, you'll need a passing score on CMAT (the exact cutoff is determined by the college) and meet the college's specific requirements, which often include a bachelor's degree and minimum passing marks of 50% (45% for reserved categories).
I hope it will clear your query!!
With a 70 percent in CAT Examination, you can go for various B-Schools or private collages. The S. K. These are the collages you can look for in Gujarat or nearby.
