Analytical Ability Analysis
Most students rated the Analytical Ability section as easy to moderate. Blood relations, number series, and alphabet series came across as fairly straightforward and didn't eat up much time. Data sufficiency and arrangement-based questions were a different story, though , these needed closer reading and interpretation, so they took longer to work through. Shape-based questions and general reasoning problems stayed concept-driven, and anyone who'd kept up with regular aptitude practice found them manageable. On the whole, the section covered topics in a fairly balanced way and gave candidates a decent shot at scoring well.
Mathematical Ability Analysis
This was the section that gave TS ICET 2026 Shift 1 candidates the most trouble. Arithmetic made up a good chunk of the paper and stayed on the manageable side, but algebra and mensuration were a different challenge altogether , long, calculation-heavy, and tough for a lot of students to get through quickly. Geometry and shape-related questions sat somewhere in the middle in terms of difficulty, and a handful reportedly touched on concepts closer to Class 12 level. Doing well here really came down to knowing formulas cold and managing time carefully enough to attempt as many questions as possible.
Communication Ability Analysis
Candidates found this section both easy and a strong scoring opportunity. Computer terminology questions were basic and asked in a direct, no-frills way. Grammar-based questions , covering articles, prepositions, tenses, idioms, and phrasal verbs, stuck to familiar, predictable patterns that most students could handle without much trouble.
According to candidates, the overall difficulty level of TS ICET 2026 shift 2 was easy to moderate. The questions were doable and thus candidates were able to attempt good number of questions.
Section | Difficulty Level |
Analytical Ability | Easy to Moderate |
Mathematical Ability | Moderate |
Communication Ability | Easy to Moderate |
Overall | Moderate |
