The TS ICET 2025 follows a well-structured pattern divided into three distinct sections. Students can analyse the TS ICET question paper pattern and prepare accordingly. Understanding the TS ICET exam pattern and the TS ICET syllabus is necessary for candidates to perform well in the TS ICET examination. The TS ICET 2025 question paper is divided into:
Section | Questions | Marks |
A: Analytical Ability | 75 | 75 |
B: Mathematical Ability | 75 | 75 |
C: Communication Ability | 50 | 50 |
Total | 200 | 200 |
Section A (Analytical Ability): The analytical ability section emphasises logical reasoning with data sufficiency questions that test your ability to determine whether given information is sufficient to solve problems. The problem-solving component likely includes puzzles, sequences, coding and decoding, and logical arrangement questions.
Section B (Mathematical Ability):The mathematical ability section forms a substantial part of the TS ICET 2025 question paper, covering fundamental to intermediate concepts. The arithmetic section of the TS ICET 2025 question paper focuses on topics such as percentage, profit-loss, time-work, and ratio problems. The algebra-geometry combination generally includes equations, coordinate geometry, and mensuration. Statistics coverage usually involves basic probability, averages, measures of central tendency (Mean, Median and Mode) and data interpretation.
Section C (Communication Ability): The communication ability section covers both technical and business contexts. The reading comprehension section, which includes three passages, indicates that a substantial amount of time is needed for this section. The computer and business terminology sections suggest that the exam targets candidates for technology or corporate roles. There will be questions asked about topics such as synonyms and antonyms, active and passive voice, grammar, sentence structure, idioms and phrases and one-word substitutions, etc.
Accessing the TS ICET 2025 question paper with solutions is crucial for candidates to evaluate their performance. By comparing their responses with the TG ICET 2025 solutions, aspirants can estimate their probable score and analyse their exam attempt. On Question asked by student community
For MBA admission through TS ICET, a residence certificate is generally required if you are applying under the state quota, as it helps determine your eligibility for local category seats. Usually, the residence certificate of the student is preferred, but in some cases, the father’s or guardian’s certificate may also be accepted, depending on the rules of the admitting college or university. Regarding the bonafide certificates from Class 8 to B.Com issued by Telangana schools and colleges, these are helpful to prove that you have studied in Telangana, but most authorities still require an official residence certificate to confirm domicile eligibility.
Good afternoon. Yes, a residence or domicile certificate is required to get a seat in MBA through TSICET.
According to the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE):
You must satisfy the local or non-local status criteria as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.
This is essential for:
Seat allotment
Fee reimbursement
Reservation benefits
Documents You’ll Need for TSICET Counseling
Residence/Domicile Certificate (issued by MRO or Tahsildar)
TSICET Rank Card & Hall Ticket
Class 10 & 12 Marksheets
Degree Certificate (or provisional)
Aadhaar Card
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
Income Certificate (for fee reimbursement)
Hi Anjum!
Thanks for your question. Based on your TS ICET 2025 rank of 6000 and the fact that you're from the BC-B girl category, you do have a fair chance to get a seat in VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET) for MCA.
In previous years, BCB girl candidates with ranks around 5000–7000 have been able to secure seats in good colleges like VNR, especially in later counselling phases or spot rounds. VNR is one of the better colleges in Telangana for MCA, so the cutoff can vary slightly based on demand that year. Since you're from a reserved category and female, you get the benefit of category and gender-based reservation which improves your chances.
I would strongly suggest participating in Phase 2 of counselling, keeping VNR as a top choice, and also adding a few backup colleges just in case. You can also keep an eye out for spot admissions where vacancies are filled quickly.
Wishing you all the best with your MCA admission,
With a 9007 TS ICET 2025 rank and SC category, you have a good chance to get into reputed MBA/MCA colleges in Telangana. Colleges like CMR, Malla Reddy, Badruka, and Telangana University are within reach. Top colleges like CBIT or JNTU-H may be harder but possible in later rounds. Prioritize your web options wisely, attend all counselling rounds, and keep your documents ready for verification.
Hello ma'am,
Thanks for reaching out!
Yes ,with your TS ICET rank of 3168 in the BC-B female category you have a good chance of getting an MCA seat at CBIT. since their cut-offs have gone upto 6,000 above in recent years. However, seat allotment may vary based on seat availability, number of applicants and reservation policy .so,It's wise to fill in plenty of options and attend councelling as per the schedule to secure the best possible seat.
