The XAT 2025 final selection will be based on a composite score, which includes XAT score, GD performance, PI performance, academic background, work experience (if any). Selected candidates receive admission offers and will be required to confirm their acceptance by paying the requisite fees.
MBA Form 2025: Who is eligible to fill the MBA Application?
MBA aspirants who fulfil the MBA eligibility requirements decided by the institute can submit the MBA admission form. Applicants who submitted the MBA application form 2025 did not meet the eligibility criteria, such MBA applications will not be accepted by the institute. The MBA eligibility criteria to submit the application form for MBA are mentioned below.
Candidates must have completed 3 or 4 years of bachelor’s degree from an approved university with a minimum of 50% marks(45% for the reserved category).
There is no age limit to apply for the IIM MBA courses or others in India.
To apply for the 5 year’s integrated MBA programmes, a minimum of 60% marks in class 10 and 12 examinations is required. Some of the IIMs offer dual degree MBA based on the JIPMAT or IPMAT scores.
Candidates with professional experience in any field are eligible for IIM MBA admissions. However, It is not mandatory to have any professional experience to apply for MBA at B-schools in India.

MBA Application Process 2025
Applicants can fill out the MBA application form released by the institutes either offline or online mode prescribed by the institutes. CAT 2024 is the main MBA entrance exam taken to shortlist the candidates for MBA admission 2025 by the majority of the MBA institutes in India. How to fill out the MBA Application Form?

List of Documents Required to fill MBA Admission Form
Applicants need to upload the following documents to submit the MBA application form. The documents must be verified by the admission cell in the final stage of the MBA admission process to confirm their MBA seats. If any of the documents appear to be fake, the candidate will be debarred from the MBA admission of the respective institute.
Personal records: Government ID proof, photographs, signature, and birth certificate
Academic Records: 10th and 12th mark sheets, Bachelor’s degree certificates, and mark sheets for different semesters,
Entrance Exam Scorecard: A valid scorecard of any MBA entrance exam accepted for MBA admission 2025 by the institutes.
Work Experience Certificate: to showcase evidence of professional experience and skills.
Category Certificate: Applicants eligible for reservation quotas can submit the category certificate given by the government authority.
Domicile: Candidates can avail of state-specific benefits by producing a state domicile certificate at the time of MBA admission.
Extracurricular activity: Submit the documents regarding any extracurricular activities accommodated by a candidate at various levels, such as district, state, inter-college, or even school.
PwD certificate: The physically challenged candidates can submit the PwD certificate to avail of the reservation in seats.
Income certificates: Required to avail of the MBA scholarships or fee waiver for the MBA course.
SOP: based on the institute applying, applicants need to submit the statement of purpose for MBA admission.

MBA Admission 2025 Based on State-level MBA Exams
Candidates who wish to apply for MBA based on the state-level MBA entrance exams can also choose the MBA programme offered by the top MBA colleges in their respective states. Some of the MBA exams conducted at the state level are MAH MBA CET, TANCET MBA, KMAT Kerala, Karnataka PGCET, AP ICET, TS ICET, OJEE MBA and others. The cutoff marks achieved in these exams will be considered for state-wise MBA admission. The MBA application deadline for these exams is mentioned here.
MAH CET Exam - MBA Admission in Maharashtra
The exam for admission in MBA conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell - Maharashtra State called the MAH MBA CET exam will be conducted on March 17, 18 and 19, 2025. MBA CET 2025 registration will begin tentatively by January 2025. Around 330 MBA colleges in Maharashtra accept MAH CET scores for MBA admission in Maharashtra. Candidates who score a percentile of 95 and above will get MBA admission at one of the top MBA institutes in Maharashtra.
TS ICET Exam - MBA Admission in Telangana
Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) conduct the TG ICET exam for MBA admission in Telangana MBA colleges. Registration for the TG ICET exam will take place from March 2025 to May 2025 tentatively and the exam will be held on May 2025. Around 309 colleges from Telangana accept the TS CIET score for MBA admission.
AP ICET Exam - MBA Admission in Andhra Pradesh
MBA admission 2025 at Andhra Pradesh colleges is done based on the score achieved by the candidates in the AP ICET exam. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu, on behalf of APSCHE, conduct the computer-based Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test every year. MBA aspirants who meet the AP ICET cut off marks can apply to the 290+ MBA colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

If your college name does not appear in the list in the drop-down menu while filling out the XAT 2025 registration, here's how you can solve the problem:
- Select "Other": In most registration forms, there is an "Other" option in the drop-down list. Select this option if your college is not appearing and enter your college name manually if required.
- Contact XAT Helpdesk : Call for help at the XAT 2025 help desk. They can tell you what to do in your case so that the name of your college gets reported correctly. Email addresses as well as contact numbers will be available on the authentic XAT website.
- Also, check for the same name variants: Sometimes a college is listed with different names or abbreviations. Always search for it in detail in the drop-down menu provided.
- Documentation: If nothing works, keep all communications and proofs ready to be presented during the exam or admission process.

Yes, you can also join IIMs two years after graduation, depending upon the justification in interviews and your performance in entrance exams. If you are not sure about CAT, try those other management exams less hard:
Common Management Admission Test: Easier than CAT; 4-5 months of continuous preparation will suffice.
MAT : Much easier and takes place thrice a year.
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test): A bit easier than CAT, apt for Symbiosis Institutes.
Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT : Hence, easier than CAT but the unique decision-making section.
Use exams like CMAT and MAT as a challenge to be competitively prepared. This can be given about 4-5 months, along with a few rounds of mock tests and smart studying.

XAT scores are valid for 2 years hence you can easily download it again Visit the official website of XAT 2025 i.e xatonline.in. and then Click on 'scorecard' tab.login with your credentials XAT ID and password type the security text shown on screen.
