MP MBA Admission 2024: The demand for Masters of Business Administration is equally high in Madhya Pradesh as in any other state in India. Several MBA colleges in MP offer various specialisations in MBA. All the state-level MP MBA admissions for private and government colleges are conducted by the Directorate Technical Education (DTE) through CMAT exam. MP MBA Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MBA admission in Madya Pradesh, candidates must fulfil the following requirement mentioned below:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in their bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or institution.
- They must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline to be eligible for MP MBA admission.
- Candidates must have a valid score in any of the MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT or CMAT accepted by the particular college. They must meet the minimum cut off requirements set by the college as well.
- Relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST or any other reserved category.

MP MBA Admission 2024: Selection Process

MP admission for MBA based on CMAT scores:
- DTE will conduct MP MBA admission after the release of common CMAT merit list.
- MP DTE counselling for MBA will be conducted for candidates who clear the GD and PI rounds.
- The shortlisted candidates must appear for the MP DTE counselling.
- The final admission will be given based on the scores in the entrance exam, GD and PI rounds
MP MBA admission based on other entrance exams:
- Candidates must have appeared for MBA entrance exams like CAT, ATMA or MAT.
- They must have qualified the minimum cut off set by the B-school to get shortlisted.
- The shortlisted candidates must then appear for the GD and PI rounds conducted by the MBA colleges.
- The final merit list is then released offering admission to the selected candidates.

Both GMAT and CAT exams are considered to be highly competitive. Therefore, it is difficult to measure which one is harder than the other as it depends on the individual strengths ,weaknesses, and personal preferences.
GMAT quant section is often considered to be easier, however, its verbal section is tougher for non-native English speakers. Whereas, CAT quant section is considered to be trickier in comparison to the verbal section. Therefore, students are advised to analyse both CAT and GMAT exam pattern carefully before opting for one.

Generally admissions are given based on your rank. So based on your overall percentile in JEE your rank could be between 56470 - 63480 approximately.
Unfortunately, Based on the marks you scored, it will be difficult to get admitted into NIT Trichy under OBC category. However there is also a second chance for you to attend for JEE, so I recommend you to take that chance and score better.
