K J Somaiya has started inviting applications for admissions to MBA/MBA HCM/MBA SM programmes. Candidates need to visit admissions.somaiya.edu for online application. In order to complete the KJSIM Mumbai application process, candidates need to fill in the application form with required details by paying the application fee of Rs 1,000 for MBA SM (non-refundable) by January 20, 2025.
For admission to the KJSIM Mumbai, candidates need to secure valid scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT/PERA-CET/CUET followed by a personal interview if necessary. Candidates can check the information from KJSIM Mumbai MBA admissions 2025 in order to avoid any error while filling the application form.
KJSIM Mumbai Admissions 2025: Important Dates
The last date for submission of the KJSIM application form for MBA-HCM and MBA-SM admission is January 20, 2025 till 11:59 pm.
The dates for round 1 schedule (for applying through CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GMAT) is to be announced. However, the process details for candidates applying through CMAT examination i.e. Round 2 details will be announced later, based on the timing of CMAT result declaration. Candidates applying through CMAT should also necessarily apply by January 20, 2025 till 23:59 pm to be considered.

Then, candidates need to appear for and secure valid scores in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT.
Based on the candidates scores in the above test, shortlisting of the candidates for GD-PI is done.
Case-based discussion and personal, in-depth interview is done at the time of KJSIM Mumbai admission process.
Further, merit list will be declared online
KJSIM admission to the candidates will be offered based on merit positions and availability of seats.

Then, candidates need to visit the official website for online application by paying the application fee of Rs 1000 (non-refundable)
KJSIM Mumbai admission to MBA SM is done based on candidates performance in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ PERA-CET/ CUET examination.
A Statement of Purpose needs to be submitted specifying the aspirant’s reason for joining this programme. Students will undergo a personal interview.
Later, final admission will be done only after document verification and admission fee payment.

K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai (SIMSR) has closed its PGDM 2020 admission process. Now the GD/PI process is continuing for final selection. The college has closed its PGDM 2020 admission on February 6, 2020. The institute has started its GD/PI process for final selection. The classes for new batch will commence in July 2020. No, SET is not for MBA.
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2020 is a university level entrance test conducted for offering admission to candidates in undergraduate programs offered by Symbiosis University.You can get admission in Bachelor's level courses through SET and MBA is Postgraduate course.

KJ Somaiya requires a minimum of 85 percentile for both CAT and XAT. There's no different cutoff for different categories so anyone who wants to apply for the college has to score a minimum of 85 percentile. But you can definitely apply for Welingkar Mumbai and Bangalore campuses as the shortlisting for PGDM HCM is completely profile based. The fees for Welingkar is nearly 11 lakhs and the average compensation package offered for Human Resources is 6-7 lakhs. The last date to apply for Welingkar is 14th February 2020. But you have a decent score so you should check some other good colleges also like
All of them are decent colleges in terms of both academics and placements and you can easily get an average compensation package of around 6-7 lakhs.
And if you want to pursue Human Resource Management and build a good career in that then XISS would be a great option which will provide you great returns on investment. The average compensation package offered for HR is nearly 9-10 lakhs.

You have a pretty decent XAT percentile but KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research requires a minimum of 85 percentile in both CAT and XAT exams. The Institute considers only the overall percentile. So it may be a little difficult for you to get a call. But you can still get some very good colleges with your XAT scores like
These colleges will also offer you good placement opportunities and good academics and you must try to attend as many interview processes as possible to get enough options to choose from.
