Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) closed the IGNOU MBA 2025 registration process on March 15, 2025. Candidates filled out the IGNOU MBA application form for the January session in online at ignou.ac. Students who completed a bachelor's degree with a 50% mark (45% for reserved categories) are filled out the IGNOU MBA registration form 2025. IGNOU MBA Registration 2025: Overview

After filling out the IGNOU MBA form, the authority will shortlist the candidates based on their past academic records. IGNOU MBA students have to complete the re-registration process in the following year. The IGNOU MBA admission to MBA/ MBA (B&F)/ MBA (HRM)/ MBA (FM)/ MBA (MM)/ MBA (OM) courses is carried out in two different cycles.

The IGNOU MBA registration process can be carried out through the official IGNOU website. Candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the IGNOU MBA registration process.

  • Step 1: Go to the official IGNOU website, ignou.ac.in
  • Step 2: Find and click on the ‘Register Online’ tab from the main menu
  • Step 3: On the IGNOU registration portal, complete the one-time registration by creating username, password, etc.
  • Step 4: Using the created username and password, login to the dashboard and fill in the mandatory fields in the IGNOU MBA application form 2025.
  • Step 5: Next, upload all the required documents in a prescribed format and size.
  • Step 6: Finally, pay the IGNOU MBA registration fee and programme fee, as applicable.

The next openmat exam that is openmat XLV is going to conduct on February 2022.The application form will start from December 2021 and the last date for filing up the application form is January 2022.

For applying IGNOU OPENMAT 2022 you must meet this eligibility criteria.

You must be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.

Or You must hold professional degree in engineering/medical/law/chartered or cost accountancy(ICAI/ICWAI)/Company Secretary ship (ICSI).

You should have scored at least 50% marks in qualifying exam.

You have to qualify the entrance exam for admission in MBA programme.

There is no age bar to appear in the OPENMAT exam.

The duration of the course is 2 years , so the total fees will cost you around 30000 . I would advise you to fo for indira gandhi national open university as it is one best university to persue mba in

IGNOU OPENMAT exam is conducted twice a year for admission in MBA course and some other management courses, generally the exam is conducted in the month of July and January, but because of covid 19 there can be  some changes.
IGNOU OPENMAT one session's scores are vaild for one year.

The last date of the registration process & the application date for session 2 openmat exam is extended till 31st of August, 2021. So, after the application process gets over for all the candidates, the authorities will release an official date when the session 2 exam of OPENMAT will be conducted. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that mba admission in IGNOU are done through openmat exam  and you need to have 55 percent in your bachelors to be eligible for it . Difficulty of mba exam is quite average , you will be easily able to crack it after some prepartion . The exam generally held in april of every year and you need to register online for the exam
