Before filling out the BHU MBA application form 2026 for admission, candidates must fulfil the FMS BHU eligibility criteria for MBA. Check the parameters related to the process of BHU MBA admissions 2026.

  • Final admission to the MBA and MBA-IB programmes will be made through CAT only. Apart from that, candidates should have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (General category) in total aggregate. Those who belong to the reserved category i.e. SC/ ST need to secure at least 45% marks.

  • Candidates should have a graduation degree under the 10+2+3 pattern in any field, like Agriculture, Medicine, Technology, Education or Law or a postgraduate degree in any discipline

How to Fill FMS BHU Admission Form 2026?

Eligible candidates will soon be able to apply for the FMS BHU MBA admission 2026. Candidates can refer to the steps to fill out the FMS BHU application form for the same.

Steps to fill the FMS BHU admission form

Step 1- Registration on the official website i.e. bhuonline.in.

Prior to filing the application form, candidates will have to register for the MBA programme by visiting the official website. While registering, candidates will have to provide their Email ID and Mobile number. All further communication about the entrance test and admission will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address. Candidates are advised to keep active till the completion of the admission process.

Step 2- Filling up the Identification details

After successful registration, one will have to fill up the identification form by giving all the particulars of the documents for authentication purposes. Candidates can provide any one of the identification documents issued by Govt. of India.

Step 3- Online application form entry and course selection

After entering identification details, candidates are required to fill up all the details asked in the online application form and select the course after fulfilling the FMS BHU eligibility criteria for MBA to the concerned course which they are opting to pursue.

Step 4- Uploading of photograph and signature

Now, candidates must scan their passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format, as per the instructions on the portal and upload them.

Step 5- Payment of application fee

FMS BHU application fee is Rs 2000 for the general category and Rs 1000 for SC/ST candidates. After filling in all the details and clicking on the “Confirm” button, the system will show the payment option. Candidates can pay the application fee via online mode by using a Credit/ Debit card

Step 6 - Take a printout of the application form for future reference

After submission of the online application and successful payment of the FMS BHU application fee are advised to take a printout of the filled application form and fee receipt for future reference.

FMS BHU MBA CAT 2025 Cutoff (Expected)

BHU will release the cutoff and prepare the BHU MBA merit list for admission into the management programme based on the CAT scores. While shortlisting, BHU will accept only CAT scores. After the declaration of the CAT result, authorities will release their cutoff marks. The authorities will release the BHU MBA CAT cutoff based on several factors, such as the number of seats, the difficulty level of the question paper, and the number of applicants.

FMS BHU MBA Selection Procedure 2026

Candidates who wish to be admitted to BHU in the management programme must have appeared for the CAT Examination. A total of 50% weightage will be given to the CAT score. After that, candidates will be required to apply separately for MBA and MBA-IB programmes. The CAT score will be used during the selection process and in the preparation of the BHU MBA merit list.

Past Academic Record

While filling out the BHU MBA application form 2026 for admission, candidates need to enter the aggregate marks of (10th, 12th and qualifying exam). If the aggregate marks are not mentioned in the mark sheet, then candidates will have to enter OGPA, CGPA, Letter grade, etc. It will be converted by using a formula during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). A total of 30% of weightage is given to the GD and PI rounds to prepare the final merit list.

Shortlisting for GD and PI

Based on the CAT 2025 score, candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

Those who will be shortlisted for the GD & PI round will have to carry the following documents while appearing for the same.

  • Photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Pan card)

  • Copies of 10th, 12th and qualifying exam marksheets

  • CAT 2025 scorecard

  • An appearing certificate from the head of the institution if a candidate is appearing for the qualifying exam

  • Caste certificate (If required)

  • Income certificate for those who belong to EWS

  • Disability certificate

  • Demand draft of Rs 2000 in favour of the registrar, Banaras Hindu University, payable at Varanasi, as processing fee for GD and PI rounds

FMS BHU Admission Counselling 2026

  • Based on merit, candidates will be called for counselling. Candidates must ensure that just based on the CAT 2025 and selection round score does not guarantee admission at BHU.

  • In case a candidate has an equal rank, then in such a case, the tie-breaking rule will be applied.

    • A student who has higher marks in the qualifying exam will be considered eligible

    • In case the qualifying marks are also similar, then the senior age will be given preference

  • On the day of the examination, candidates must bring all the above-mentioned documents as on the day of counselling for verification.

  • Provisional admission to BHU will be provided based on the availability of seats and combined merit. Issuing of the call letter does not entitle candidates to admission

  • Those who will be granted provisional admission will have to submit the fees within the stipulated time

  • Authorities will cancel provisional admission at any stage if they detect something wrong in the candidate's academic record or any false information in the documents or submitted details.

FMS BHU Fee Structure 2026

FMS BHU has released the FMS BHU MBA fee structure for the academic year 2026-28. Shortlisted candidates will have to pay the FMS BHU MBA course fee to confirm their MBA admission.
