For the academic year 2022-23. IIM entrance exam 2021 registration (CAT) has begun from August 04 and will conclude on September 15. To register for IIM entrance exam, no age restriction is set by IIMs i.e. any candidate without any specific age limit can give the exam and take admission in IIMs. Candidates who will clear the entrance exam of IIM will be called for further selection rounds which will include WAT, GD-PI. CAT is a national level entrance test which is conducted by IIM Ahmedabad this year. IIM Entrance Exam - CAT 2021
The entrance exam which is the gateway to India’s top MBA institutes i.e. any of the 20 IIMs or other top B-Schools than IIMs is Common Admission Test. CAT 2021 will be conducted on November 28 in computer-based mode by IIM Ahmedabad. The CAT exam will be conducted in three sessions because of wide audience engagement and participation. Due to high no. of registration and execution of IIM entrance exam in three sessions, CAT normalization process is used by IIMs. Note that the CAT 2021 result shows both scaled scores and percentile scores, hence to scale the scores, the normalization process is important.
IIM Entrance Exam Registration 2021
To take admission in IIMs or any other top institute for the academic year 2022-23, candidates will have to register themselves for the IIM entrance exam i.e. CAT. The IIM entrance exam registration process has already begun as per the exam dates of CAT 2021. IIM Ahmedabad will also provide the facility to correct the CAT application form tentatively in the last week of September. While filling the application form of CAT, candidates will have to select any six test cities whereby they are comfortable giving the entrance exam of IIM. These test cities will be the CAT 2021 exam centres.
IIM Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021
Details related to the age limit, qualifying exams, marks required to appear, nationality etc., are included in the eligibility criteria of CAT 2021. According to the IIM entrance exam CAT, the eligibility criteria of CAT 2021 for every IIM is same. Complete details related to the CAT eligibility criteria 2021 will be mentioned in the notification released by IIMs for CAT later. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form of IIM entrance exam. Given below is the eligibility criteria of IIM entrance exam which can be referred by candidates.
Educational Qualification - All candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized or statutory institute/college as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India
Qualifying Marks - Candidates belonging to the General, EWS and NC-OBC categories must have an aggregate score of at least 50% or equivalent CGPA. While 5% relaxation is given to candidates belonging Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories every year for IIM entrance exam
Final Year - Candidates who are in their final year of college are also allowed to appear for the entrance exam of IIM i.e. CAT on the condition that they have to present their qualifying scorecards within the stipulated time
Age Limit - To appear for IIM entrance exam, no age limit is set by IIMs
IIM Entrance Exam Pattern 2021
Before starting the IIM entrance exam preparation candidates must have a look on the exam pattern of CAT 2021. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability will be the three sections of the IIM entrance exam which is to be solved by candidates in three hour time duration. As per the CAT exam pattern, for every correct answer three marks will be awarded and each wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark.

What After IIM Entrance Exam?
Qualified candidates of IIM entrance exam will be called for further admission rounds. The selection procedure of IIM requires candidates to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined activities i.e. IIM entrance exam, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), work experience, academic profile and much more. The result of CAT (IIM entrance exam) will contain complete details of the candidate’s performance. CAT percentile is calculated on the basis of scaled scores obtained by candidates. On the basis of the final result of IIM entrance test and selection procedure, candidates will be able to take admission in Master of Business Administration or PGP courses.

You should be focused for getting 80 percentile in CAT examination with the preparation of 1 year. The things we have to do follow as mentioned below : Clarity -what goal is to achieve it should be clear to you. What do you want to do it. What benefit you will get in future from this course.
Studying smart and disciplined way-You have to divide your time for each sections and to follow it strictly.
