IIM fee structure and seats - If your dream B-school is one of the IIMs, it’s not just the Common Admission Test (CAT), Written Ability Test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) or Group Discussion (GD) that you have to deal with. You also have to keep in mind that studying at one of the 20 IIMs comes with a cost that can dig a deep hole either in your pocket or your parents’ pocket. And with the recent hike in the fee by many IIMs, the management education with IIM tag is going to cost even more. Although there are loan facilities available to pay the fee, you need to check whether it’s going with your financial condition or not. Hence, while planning for MBA admission, MBA aspirants seek information on IIM fee structure and seats. CAT toppers who have been shortlisted by the older IIMs including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Indore, can expect a good ROI (Return on Investment) but it may not be the same with newer IIMs.
