IIM Hostel Fees 2025: The IIM hostel fees is a component of the IIM fee structure for its different MBA/PGDM programs offered to candidates. The IIM hostel fees vary for different IIM colleges across the country. The IIM hostel fees have to be paid along with the IIM program fee for every semester before it begins or annually in the case of some IIMs. Taking the hostel as accommodation is compulsory for every candidate who comes to IIM for its flagship MBA/PGDM program. The IIM hostel fees is generally between Rs. 1 to 5 lakhs for the entire duration of the course.

The IIM hostel fees generally cover facilities like accommodation, dining, utilities like electricity, internet, laundry, security, and a few other miscellaneous facilities which are subject to particular IIM. IIM Students are mandatorily required to stay in the IIM hostels as a part of their on-campus residence program. However, in some IIMs in some rare cases, the students can be day scholars.

As of the CAT 2024 exam for the MBA class of 2025-2027 at IIM Mumbai, the NC-OBC (Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes) category requires an overall percentile of 75.
It is essential to understand that these are the minimal qualifying percentiles required to go to the next level, the Personal Interview (PI). The actual cutoffs for receiving a PI call may be much higher, depending on the number of candidates, their profiles, and IIM Mumbai's special admission requirements for the year.
A higher score will considerably improve your chances of being shortlisted for the PI process.
