The IIM CAP CAT cut off 2025 is expected to be out soon on the official website, cap2025.iimbg.ac.in. As per the official IIM website, it is expected that the overall IIM CAP 2025 cutoff for the general category will be around 95, and the sectional cutoff is 75. While for the SC category, the overall IIM CAP cutoff is expected to be around 66. This expected cut off is for the 8 participating IIMs, which include Bodh Gaya, Jammu, Kashipur, Nagpur, Ranchi, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli and Udaipur. Keep in mind that the processes, academic cut-offs and weightages assigned to evaluation parameters may differ between these IIMs. PI and WAT scores from CAP 2025 can be used for other specialised MBA programs. New: CAT Marks for 99 Percentile: How Many Marks Should I Score in CAT to Get 99 Percentile?
Apart from the respective admission processes of the IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, or IIM Calcutta, the higher-ranked IIMs, the applicants can also apply for the CAP 2025 to get into several other IIMs. Common Admission Process or CAP 2025 is the final selection round for MBA admission 2025 in new and baby IIMs and is a common selection round for all the participating IIMs. At present, 8 IIMs participate in the Common Admission Process. These include: IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu, Kashipur, Nagpur, Ranchi, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli and Udaipur.
The CAP 2025 is a single-point selection process and is common for all the participating IIMs. Following is the sectional and overall percentile cut-off for appearing in the PI and WAT of the Common Admission Process 2025 of 8 participating IIMs.

The IIM CAP final merit list is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the PI round. However, to be even for the PI round there has been a minimum qualifying IIM CAP CAT Cut-Off that the applicant needed to match to be able to apply for the IIM CAP. After that, the candidates are shortlisted from the pool and called for an interview.
The After the successful PI round the selected candidates are taken into the management courses. The final IIM CAP CAT Cut-Off to get an entry for management courses is much higher than the qualifying IIM CAP CAT Cut-Off. In order to fill out the IIM CAP Form 2025, the applicants need to undergo the following rigorous process:
First, fill out the personal information page. On this page, one needs to fill in the personal details that have been given to the CAT 2024. The candidate needs to fill in their name, gender, category, bachelor’s degree, nationality, CAT registration ID, and date of birth. At the same time, the candidate also needed to put in the CAT 2024 score.
Once the personal information page is filled, the candidate is directed to the communion address page. On this page, one must put the registered Mail ID, Mobile number, and parent’s name that was mentioned in the CAT registration. One needs to enter a complete communication postal address with a PIN code.
In the educational qualification section, one has to furnish details of the applicant's educational qualification from class 10 onwards. The details required are year of passing, board/university, marks obtained/CGPA, and percentage of marks. To substantiate academic performance, one needs to upload relevant marksheets and certificates/degrees
On the work experience page of the IIM CAP 2025 application form, one needs to furnish details of the work experience that the candidate gained over the years. They needed to put that down in reverse order. The Work experience of the last job should be at the top he latest work experience details should be filled in first, and the earlier work experience details should come afterwards. While filling up the work experience, please provide details of the Employment section, employer, Monthly salary, designation, period of work experience, and total days of work experience. The candidate has to upload the work experience certificate on this page.
If the candidate has any co-curricular achievements, they candidate should mention that in the next tab. The page requires one to fill in the name of the achievement, category (district, state, national, or international level), and upload the relevant certificate for the same.
The last part of the CAP application form requires one to complete the declaration and sign the form. The form is complete now, and you should submit it online on the CAP website.

Candidates are not required to separately appear in PI-WAT for each of the participating IIMs, as the scores of CAP are applicable for all the participating IIMs. The final admission offer to the candidates is released by the new IIMs based on their performance in the CAP round, CAT score, academic profile, diversity, work experience, and other individual selection parameters. The CAT exam requires a significant amount of time for preparation, including brushing up on basic concepts and practicing advanced problem-solving. Starting too early can feel overwhelming and may not be sustainable with other academic commitments.
The CAT exam requires a level of focus and maturity that is not always present in class 9. Starting preparation at this stage can be challenging to maintain.
