Ever heard of MBA colleges with 0% placements? MBA placements are one of the biggest factors influencing MBA admission decisions, often carrying more weight than rankings or infrastructure. Every year, thousands of MBA aspirants invest lakhs of rupees as MBA fees with the expectation of securing a well-paying job through campus MBA placements. However, based on available data submitted for NIRF ranking 2026, several MBA colleges in India reported 0% placement, meaning none of their graduating students received campus job offers. For aspirants, these figures serve as a reminder that an MBA degree alone does not guarantee employment. Before finalising a B-school, candidates should carefully examine placement records, return on investment (ROI), industry partnerships, and alumni outcomes.

An MBA can be a valuable investment but in recent times it has become more important to duly check not only the courses or brand names but at the same time the past placement statistics as well the ROI. The fact that some MBA colleges have witnessed zero % campus placements where 474 students graduated highlights the importance of looking beyond rankings, advertisements, and brand claims while choosing a B-school.A thorough comparison can help students avoid costly mistakes and ensure that their MBA degree translates into better career opportunities. Moreover, rather than doing MBA for the sake of it, one should try to get into better colleges if they have the favourable situation and opportunity in their hand.

Hello Dear Student,
Low-Tier IIIT CSE vs Jadavpur University B.Arch (for MBA Aspirants)
If your primary goal is to pursue an MBA later, switching from CSE at a lower-tier IIIT to B.Arch at Jadavpur University solely for academic diversity is generally not the best strategy.

Hello Dear Student,
EWS eligibility for CAT 2025-26 hinges on current financial records, but a renewed certificate is required for final IIM admissions. If future income exceeds the 8 lakh threshold, candidates will likely lose EWS status and be reclassified to the General category rather than facing seat cancellation.
