IIT Bombay MBA Cutoff 2024: Candidates who wish to pursue an MBA from Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSoM), IIT Bombay must clear the IIT Bombay MBA cutoff. IIT Bombay will release the CAT cutoff for MBA admission for the academic batch of 2025-27. Going by past year trends, IIT Bombay CAT cutoff score for candidates from the general category is around 90 percentile, 81 to 85 percentile for NC-OBC, and 60 percentile for SC/ ST/ PwD category. The IIT Bombay MBA selection process is done based on the performance of candidates in the CAT exam and personal interview. To get IIT Bombay admission, a candidate must meet SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA eligibility criteria. The IIT Bombay MBA includes a 2 step MBA selection process.

Step 1: Release of IIT Bombay MBA shortlist

The shortlist of the candidates is based on the CAT score. Candidates who meet the IIT Bombay MBA CAT sectional-wise and overall cutoff will be called for the next level of selection process. In addition to this, past academic records and work experience are also considered while preparing for the MBA shortlist.

Step 2: WAT-PI round

Since the CAT application form correction window is closed, you must contact the CAT help desk immediately to explain the situation, as you can't edit a wrong date of birth after submission. If it's a major error like date of birth, you may need to go to the exam center with proof and the correct admit card, although getting it corrected before the exam date is the most important first step.

You have to apply separately for each symbiosis college, like SIBM Pune, as they as not automatically included. The CAT form automatically includes many IIMs, but the SNAP exam is a separate test that is given for admission to Symbiosis Institute, which requires its own separate application and fee.
