IIT Bombay MBA Cutoff: Candidates who wish to pursue an MBA from Shailesh J Mehta School of Management (SJMSoM), IIT Bombay must meet the IIT Bombay MBA cutoff. IIT Bombay has released the CAT cutoff and MBA selection process for the academic year 2024-26. As per the released IIT Bombay CAT cutoff score, candidates with 90 percentile from general categories, 81 percentile for NC-OBC, and 60 percentile for SC/ ST/ PwD are eligible to apply for the SJMSoM MBA admission. The IIT Bombay MBA selection process is done based on the performance of candidates in the CAT exam and personal interview. To get IIT Bombay admission, a candidate must meet SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA eligibility criteria. The IIT Bombay MBA includes a 2 step MBA selection process.
Step 1: Release of IIT Bombay MBA shortlist
The shortlist of the candidates is based on the CAT score. Candidates who meet the IIT Bombay MBA CAT sectional-wise and overall cutoff will be called for the next level of selection process. In addition to this, past academic records and work experience are also considered while preparing for the MBA shortlist.
Step 2: WAT-PI round
Shortlisted candidates must attend the written test and personal interview on the allotted date and time.
Step 3: IIT Bombay MBA Final List
The SJMSOM Bombay will release the final list based on the composite score attained by candidates in the following parameters.

Hello,
Getting admission to an IIM without taking the CAT is possible through alternative routes such as:
1. Executive MBA (PGPX,EPGP,ect .) : Many IIMs offer Executive MBA programs for experienced professionals, which may require GMAT scores instead of CAT .
2.Integrated programs: Some IIMs offer integrated programs like IPM (Integrated Program in Management), where admission cab be based on entrance exams other than CAT.
3.Doctoral programs (Ph.D.): Some IIMs accept GMAT/GRE scores for their doctoral programs .
4. Specialized Courses: IIMs offer various short-term and ccertificate programs that don't require CAT scores.

Generally admissions are given based on your rank. So based on your overall percentile in JEE your rank could be between 56470 - 63480 approximately.
Unfortunately, Based on the marks you scored, it will be difficult to get admitted into NIT Trichy under OBC category. However there is also a second chance for you to attend for JEE, so I recommend you to take that chance and score better.
