About GMET 2025

GMET 2025 is conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar for two-year MBA admission. The various management courses offered at GNDU in MBA include General, Financial Services, and Marketing and Retail Management. GMET 2025 is to be conducted by GNDU’s University Business School. As per the eligibility criteria to appear for GMET 2025, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate marks in the same. Meanwhile, the candidates with 45% from SC/ST categories can apply for the GMET exam.

GMET will be held in computer-based mode for a duration of two and half hours and consist of objective-type questions only. GMET 2025 will evaluate candidates based on four sections, namely- Mental and Numerical Ability, General Knowledge, General English, and Business Aptitude. Candidates who clear the GMET cutoff will be invited for counselling for admission to the desired college under GNDU.

GMET 2025 application form will be released by Guru Nanak Dev University online mode at online.gndu.ac.in and interested candidates can complete the GNDU GMET application form before the deadline. An application fee must also be paid at the time of submitting GMET 2025 application forms.

How to fill GMET application form 2025:

  • Visit the official website of Guru Nanak Dev University.
  • Click on the 'Admission' tab and select 'MBA’ programme from the menu.
  • Click on ‘Register’, enter Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Category, Password, Security key and other details asked to generate Fee Deposit Slip bearing a unique Reference number.
  • Next, take a print out of Fee Deposit Slip.
  • Submit the slip to the nearest State Bank of India branch along with the application fee for GMET 2025. The GMET exam registration fee is Rs 1200 for General category and Rs. 600 for SC/ST students. 
  • Upon submitting, the bank will issue a Journal ID in the name of the candidate.
  • Go back to filling the application form-three days after receiving Journal ID.
  • Enter the Journal ID given by the bank and fill all the details carefully. 
  • Ensure that the details are correct because no editing will be allowed later. 
  • After filling all the fields in the application form, click on the ‘SUBMIT’ tab, and view the details filled for one last time. Make any corrections if necessary.
  • Click on the ‘LOCK’ tab. The submitted application form of GMET 2025 will appear with a unique ID. 
  • Take a print-out of GMET 2025 application form. Candidates will be required to carry this application form at the time of the counselling process.

Before filling out the GMET application form, candidates must check the GMET 2025 eligibility criteria to avoid cancellation or inconvenience during the MBA admission process. Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) prescribes the GMET eligibility criteria. Candidates who do not satisfy norms will not be considered for admission to GNDU. Check the GMET 2025 eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognised university. Additionally, General category candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks and Reserved (SC/ST) category candidates must have secured at least 45 per cent marks in the same.

  • Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for GMET 2025 conducted by GNDU.

Guru Nanak Dev University prescribes the exam pattern of GMET 2025. The question paper of GMET 2025 will be divided into four sections, each carrying 50 objective-type questions with 50 marks each. GMET 2025 Syllabus

GMET 2025 Guru Nanak Dev University Management Entrance Test 2025

The admit card for GMET 2025 is expected to be released by GNDU one week before the exam. GMET 2025 hall ticket will be available in online mode only and must be downloaded from the website of GNDU. No hard copies of the admit card will be sent.

How to download GMET 2025 admit card:

  • Visit Guru Nanak Dev University website
  • Go to admissions section and click GMET tab
  • Enter the login credentials given at the time of GMET 2025 registration.
  • Download admit card of GMET.

The hall ticket will mention the following details:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Roll Number
  • Name of Exam/stream
  • Exam date, time and venue
  • Candidate’s photograph and contact details

Any error or discrepancy in the admit card must immediately be reported to the conducting authority for rectification. The admit card of GMET 2025 is a mandatory document which should be carried to the exam hall on test day. Without this, candidates will be barred from taking the exam.

It is advised that candidates carry a valid Photo ID with them, besides the admit card of GMET issued by GNDU. The ID may be any one of the following:

  • Passport
  • Voter ID card
  • PAN card
  • Aadhaar card

Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their result of GMET 2025 in online mode. GMET 2025 results will be declared in online mode in the form of a scorecard. Candidates who appeared for the exam have to log in by entering the credentials and checking the GMET result.

How to download GMET 2025 result

  • Visit the official website of GNDU GMET 2025
  • Click on "Download GNDU GMET 2025 Result".
  • Login using the GMET credentials. 
  • The scorecard of GMET exam will be displayed on the screen
  • Take a print-out of the scorecard of GMET 2025 and preserve it till the admission rounds.

Test takers who qualify the GMET 2025 cutoff will be shortlisted and called for counselling rounds, after which the selected ones will finally be granted admission in MBA programme of GNDU.  

The counselling of GMET 2025 will take place after the declaration of results. Only those candidates whose names appear on the GMET merit list released by GNDU will be called for counselling. 

It is important to note that Guru Nanak Dev University shall conduct two rounds of GMET counselling for admission to MBA programme. Selected candidates must come in person to the respective counselling venue on the said date.
