As per the UPESMET 2026 exam schedule, the application process for UPESMET 2026 commenced in online mode. Candidates can fill out the UPESMET 2026 application form before February 28, 2026. To complete the application process, candidates have to pay the UPESMET application fee of INR 1750 through net banking/ UPI/ credit/ debit card.
University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun is conducting UPES MET 2026 in online mode. Candidates will take the exam from home, using a computer. The UPES will provide the exam link and passcode through email. So UPES will not release the UPES MET admit card for the exam. The UPESMET entrance test link and exam details will be shared with the candidates one day before the exam.
UPESMET is a university-level entrance test conducted by UPES, Dehradun. UPESMET’s entrance exam will be held in multiple phases. The test will consist of a total of 140 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the sections, including Quantitative, General Awareness, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and General English.
UPESMET results 2026 will be announced on the official website of UPES Dehradun. The UPES MET result is usually announced a few days after the exam. Candidates who appeared in the UPES MET can check the result on the official website by logging in with their application number and date of birth. After the result, candidates can book the PI slot. The schedule of PI will be shared with candidates at the registered email ID.
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, will conduct the UPESMET counselling process post-declaration of results. UPESMET 2026 counselling will be conducted via multiple rounds. Candidates will be contacted via the provided email address for the personal interview process. In order to appear for the UPESMET counselling process, candidates will have to satisfy the minimum qualifying marks.
Post declaration of the UPESMET 2026 result, UPES Dehradun will conduct Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Those candidates who apply through CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT by GMAC, and GMAT scores do not need to appear for UPESMET 2026. Based on their scores in the MBA entrance exam, candidates will be called for GD/PI rounds to be held face-to-face at the Dehradun campus.
