Effective use of Time: Always attempt to solve easy questions first. The enthusiasm to solve more number of questions is always there but you should avoid generous attempt and answer only such questions in which you are confident and thereby you can bring down on negative marking. Always aim to score balanced high sectional percentile than to focus on overall high percentile. Have a time-bound practice session, note down at regular intervals as to how many questions from each of the sections you have solved. Once the admit cards are released the mock test will be provided officially to registered candidates.
College Comparison based on Courses, Placement, Rank, Fee
Reading habit: To improve on reading ability, begin with passage size of 300 words and go up to passage size of 1700 words to get proficiency in faster reading practice. CAT generally wouldn’t offer passages above this size. This needs systematic practice. Read newspapers and articles regularly and mark difficult words and learn meaning from the dictionary. Don’t assume answers, learn to read between lines. Always understand the context of the article before answering questions.
Selection of Study Material: Time management is very crucial at this stage. You may wish to cover as many study materials as possible. But ensure that at this stage of halfway mark you do not run around to get the study material but instead, you choose a particular material and stick to that because we all know that it is humanly impossible to study and practice everything available, so deep dive into the study material that is already there on hand.
You have to just relax on the previous day of the CAT 2018 and breeze through the notes. Keep yourself calm and stable. And last but not the least, remain confident and have belief in your preparation.

For applying for MMS, you need to clear the following aptitude tests and apply to the colleges of your choice-
1. MAH-CET/CMAT(Common Management Aptitude Test).
2. CAT( Conducted by IIMS)/JMET(conducted by IITs)/MAT(conducted by AIMA)/ XAT(conducted by XLRI)/ATMA(conducted by AIMS).
Hi Mahesh, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of test takers, number of seats available, difficulty level of exams etc. However going by the previous year cutoffs, there are high chances for Welingkar as their cutoff is around 97 percentile. The chances for Sydneham is like having good to better chances, but it is not having high chances for this percentile.
yes u can get into both the colleges easily with the score of cmat you possess ,
