Candidates who clear the CAT exam and met the IIM Trichy CAT percentile are eligible to participate in the next round of the IIM Trichy selection process, i.e., Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI).
IIM Trichy shortlisted candiates will receive IIM Trichy in their registered email id. If the candidates don't get any IIM Trichy calls, you are not qualified for the next round. Before that, candidates should have applied for the CAP 2026.
For the final merit list, the aspirants will be shortlisted for IIM Trichy PGPM admission based on the marks obtained in academics, work experience (if any), CAT score, and performance in the GD/PI.
IIM Trichy Waitlist Movement 2026
The Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli, will release the IIM Trichy waiting list movement for PGP admission after the announcement of the final merit list. If one withdraws their seat, the vacancy will be allotted to the next students in the IIM Trichy Waitlist 2026.
Also, candidates who fail to pay the IIM Trichy admission fee before the deadline will have their candidature cancelled, and the seat will be allotted to the next person on the IIM Trichy waiting list 2026. Candidates are given PGPM admission at IIM Trichy based on their merit and the availability of seats.
