IIM Trichy Cutoff 2024: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Trichy will release the IIM Trichy CAT 2024 cutoff for admission to its PGP program for the academic year of 2025-27. IIM Trichy follows a three-stage admission process to offer admission into PGP courses. Here we have listed the three stages of the IIM Trichy admission process.
Stage 1: Securing minimum marks in the CAT entrance exam
Those candidates who meet the required CAT qualifying cutoff and eligibility criteria of the programs offered by IIM Trichy will be shortlisted for the CAP process. Shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview (PI) will be done among the candidates who have a valid CAT scorecard.
Stage 2: Shortlisting of candidates for the CAP process
Those candidates who have been shortlisted in the Stage 1 will be required to appear for the Common Admission Process (CAP). Those who failed to meet the minimum performance in Personal Interview (PI) will not be considered for the final selection process.
Stage 3: Final selection of candidates
After the PI process, IIM Trichy will offer admission to candidates based on the composite score of the candidates. This includes candidates' performance in CAT 2024, performance in Personal Interview (PI), past academic performance, work experience, gender diversity etc. Later on, a category-wise merit list will be generated with all the names of shortlisted candidates.
Going by past years' IIM Tricy CAT cutoff trends, candidates belonging to the general category need to score between 90 to 95 percentile in the CAT entrance test.
IIM Trichy MBA fees is Rs 14,50,000/- which includes the tuition fee, library, textbooks, case permission royalty, examination fee, academic course pack, Alumni membership etc.

Yes, you can get admission to MBA programs at IISWBM without a CAT score, but only for certain courses. Note that IISWBM has MBA programs under the University of Calcutta and flagship courses like MBA (Day) or MBA-HRM typically require a CAT score. Other programs like the PGDM or Executive MBA/Course may have other entrance examinations on which consideration would be made, or considerations may be based on merit, and of course work experience. Yes, a state (Delhi) NC-OBC certificate is valid for CAT 2025 , but it must be in the central government format (for appointment to posts under Government of India).
Also, it should be issued after 31st March 2025, as required by IIMs. If your certificate meets these conditions, it will be accepted.
