MBA After CS: A Good choice?

Considering all the factual information regarding MBA and CS, Masters of Business Administration really won’t be a very good option to choose after CS and the reason behind this statement is that in Company secretary they focus more on legal compliance skills and in MBA managerial skills are given more attention. They both somehow contradict each other and do not go hand in hand but LLB after CS seems to be a deadly combination altogether as it provides better understanding of law overall and judicial bodies required in CS.

In contrast to this, if a student has immense interest in developing business and management skills or visions to start his or her venture can definitely take MBA into account. He/she can refer MBA in Corporate communication.

    Why not MBA after CS?

    • Completely different fields - CS and MBA are two completely different domains. While the Company secretary course focuses on corporate laws, securities laws & capital market, on the other hand MBA deals with organisational behaviour, planning, business strategy, leadership, and the more human aspects of managing a small or large company. They both are in contrast with each other and does not fit well altogether.
    • Expensive MBA Fee - MBA being the most expensive course in India is not affordable by all sections of society which is a biggest turn off for the students. There are only a few recognised MBA offering institutions that provide good packages, rest are just waste of time and money.
    • No common subjects - CS and MBA do not have a single subject in common, both of them deal in distinct areas thus becoming entirely different.
