The final MBA admission offer letter is given to those candidates who scored good marks in all the below-mentioned parameters. CAT exam or Common Admission Test is the widely accepted MBA entrance exam conducted by IIMs in India. A CAT score is required to apply for the MBA/PGP/PGDM programmes offered at the top MBA colleges in India/IIMs. All the IIMs release their admission policy mentioning the eligibility requirements to apply for the course, sectional and category-wise CAT weightage. Applicants who meet the CAT cut off marks as per the admission policy will be shortlisted by IIMs and other top MBA colleges to attend the further rounds of the MBA admission process. The final MBA admission offer letter is issued to those candidates who attained a good composite score in above mentioned criteria. If your CAT admit card has a different date of birth than your Aadhaar card, you should get it corrected immediately . Here’s what you can do:
Check the CAT website : Log in to your candidate portal and look for the option to correct personal details.
Contact the CAT helpdesk : Email or call them explaining the issue. Attach a copy of your Aadhaar card as proof.
Do not ignore it : The date of birth must match your ID, otherwise you may face problems at the exam or during admission.
Usually, the CAT authorities allow corrections before the exam, so act quickly.
