    What is the IIM Waitlist Movement?

    The IIM waitlisting process is a major part of the IIM admission process. Once a student completes all the selection processes, the final results for the IIM admission will be declared. Once the first round of counselling results are declared, other vacant seats will be placed on the waiting list.

    The IIM Bangalore waitlist is a list of candidates who have been accepted but have not yet been offered an MBA seat. IIMB waitlisted candidates are eligible to be offered a seat if any of the already accepted candidates choose not to attend.

    The movement of the IIM waiting list is unpredictable. In some years, the IIM waitlist may move significantly, meaning that many candidates on the IIM Bangalore waitlist will eventually be offered a seat. In other years, the IIM Bangalore waitlist may move very little, meaning that many candidates on the IIM waitlist are not offered a seat.

    I currently meet all the eligibility criteria for an EWS for year 2025-26 but I will start earning in next month...so in CAT I am eligible for EWS and what after next year...will the college ask me for nee certificate if yes will my seat will be rejected...
