Edited By Himanshu Shekhar | Updated on Sep 16, 2023 10:05 AM IST | #CAT

CAT Toppers List 2023 - IIM Lucknow will release CAT 2023 result probably in the second week of January 2024. With the availability of a CAT scorecard, the CAT topper list will also be uploaded on the official website. CAT 2023 is scheduled to be held on November 26 at 155 cities across the country in three shifts. On this page, we will provide the complete profile of all the CAT toppers.

    CAT Toppers List 2023

The main objection to releasing the CAT 2023 topper list is to show the success stories of those candidates who really worked hard during their CAT preparation journey to help candidates crack the Common Admission Test (CAT) with ease and to secure a decent percentile in this national-level MBA entrance exam. It is expected that around 2.5 lakh candidates will take the CAT entrance test this year. As per the past year's trend, the overall attendance in the CAT exam is around 87%. Last year out of 2.22 lakh candidates 35% were females, 65% were Males and 4 candidates were Transgender.

As per last year's CAT result stats, a total of 11 candidates secured 100 percentile in CAT. A total of 22 candidates, engineering 16 and non-engineering background 6 scored 99.99 percentile. Check out previous years CAT toppers list/

    CAT Cutoffs and IIM Admission

IIM Admission criteria include three stages: screening of candidates on the basis of CAT score, WAT-GD/PI round, and final selection. In order to appear for the IIM admission process 2023-24, candidates will have to satisfy the individual CAT cutoff specified by the institute. Apart from that, the candidate’s work experience and past academic qualifications will also be considered for final selection.

    CAT beyond IIMs

90 non-IIM institutes will also use CAT 2023 scores this year for admission into their management programmes. All the details pertaining to the non-IIM institution that is registered with CAT will be available on the official website of IIM CAT. Candidates are required to check the CAT website to ensure the institution’s candidates are applying with the CAT score and registered with the CAT 2023.

    Questions related to CAT

Have a question related to CAT ?

    Hii There,

Commencing your CAT preparation involves building a solid foundation in fundamental concepts. This emphasis is particularly essential for quant, while it's relatively less crucial for VARC, DI, and LR, where consistent practice from the outset is more beneficial.

To kickstart your preparation, your first step should be to attempt a CAT mock test. Take this mock test right at the beginning of your preparation journey. It will provide an initial assessment of your current proficiency level and help gauge the amount of effort required to reach your target percentile.

Following this, set a goal to dedicate 10 days to thoroughly cover the fundamentals of Quantitative Aptitude. You can achieve this by studying from a reputable Quantitative Aptitude book or by utilizing study materials provided by a well-known coaching institute. Covering the basics entails working through the solved examples in the chosen resource.

I hope this answer your question.

    Thanks

    Hello aspirant,

It doesn't matter how high marks you have got in your diploma, of your CAT form asks you to fill 12 th standard marks then you can not fill your diploma marks there. Also in IIMs you need to share your 12 marks. So I suggest you to fill your 12 th grade marks if require, no matter ho many marks you have got.

    Thank you

    Hope this information helps you.

    Hello Praneeth,

I am also appearing for the cat examination this year. As far as your query is concerned I would suggest you to right your  father's name(which is starting with S) in the middle if it is also mentioned in your aadhar card and pan card .

And if by any chance it is mentioned only the initials S in your pan/aadhar card then I would suggest you should fill only S in the cat application form.

    Note :-

Keep in mind that your name in the application form should match with what is mentioned in your aadhar card /pan card .

    Greetings!

Being a VIT student, I would strongly recommend you against it! Now I not at all mean it is a bad college, no it isn't it indeed is a very good college, and it has provided me with ample of opportunities. It does have a respectable reputation, excellent infrastructure, and well qualified faculty.

However at the same time, you have an 5.5K rank in mains, with that type of rank you have a very good shot at getting CSE in top NITs and IIITs, and honestly VIT pales in comparison to them, even if it is CAT 1 Vellore campus CSE core.

VIT is good but it can be termed better than IIIT Bangalore or MNIT Jaipur( both of which are well within your reach)? Well my answer to that would be a definite NO!

I would go as far as recommending my juniors to get into DAIICT over VIT, the point I am trying to make is simple, and that is if you have under 10K JEE rank, you don't need to consider VIT as an option, in any category or course whatsoever...

To get a better idea on which colleges you can get at that rank you can use following predictor

1600 satellites were sent up by a country for several purposes. The purposes are classified as broadcasting (B), communication (C), surveillance (S), and others (O). A satellite can serve multiple purposes; however a satellite serving either B, or C, or S does not serve O.

A high security research lab requires the researchers to set a pass key sequence based on the scan of the five fingers of their left hands. When an employee first joins the lab, her fingers are scanned in an order of her choice, and then when she wants to re-enter the facility, she has to scan the five fingers in the same sequence.
The lab authorities are considering some relaxations of the scan order requirements, since it is observed that some employees often get locked-out because they forget the sequence

For example, if the original sequence is Thumb Cr), index finger (I), middle finger (M), ring finger CR) and little finger (L) then TLMRI is also allowed, but TMRU is not.
