MBA aspirants always struggle to understand how much a CAT 2025 score is required to get into the top 10 IIMs of India in IIM Admission 2026. This year, the minimum overall and sectional IIM Ahmedabad CAT cutoff 2025 has increased for all categories. The minimum CAT 2025 cutoff for IIM Ahmedabad for general candidates is 95, while the IIM Lucknow cutoff 2026 for general candidates is 90. Based on the data of the previous years, general candidates will need a CAT 2025 cutoff between 85-99+ percentiles to get an interview call from the top IIMs. However, the IIM final selection 2026 does not only depend on the CAT 2025 score but also takes into account factors like the academic profile, work experience, gender diversity, etc. The RTI data of 2024 - 2026 batch showed that the top 10 IIM CAT cutoffs for the general candidates were between 88-94 percentiles for the final IIM selection. In that same year, the IIM cutoff for reserved categories was between 52-98 percentiles, comparatively lower than that of general category students.

Getting into the NIRF 2025 top 10 IIMs can turn out to be a tedious task for management aspirants. The top 10 IIM acceptance rates were between 0.12-1.22 % for the general candidates out of those who have applied for it based on the IIM admission data of 2024-26 batch. Minimum CAT 2025 Cutoff For Top 10 IIMs (Expected)
Looking at the data from the previous years, the IIM Cutoff 2026 for the general candidates is expected to be around 85 to 95 percentile for the top 10 IIMs, including IIM BLACKI. Similarly, the IIM CAT Cutoff 2025 for SC/ST is expected to be between 42 to 85 percentiles. EWS candidates are expected to need between 75 to 95 percentiles in the CAT 2025 cutoff to become eligible for the top 10 IIMs. However, it would be important to note that these expected CAT 2025 Cutoffs will only make management aspirants eligible for the top IIMs in 2026. The actual IIM Cutoff 2026 for getting an interview call is generally higher.
The IIM Ahmedabad Selection criteria 2026 and the IIM Lucknow selection criteria 2026 are out already, so the CAT 2025 cutoff mentioned below is official. However, for all other IIMs, we have mentioned the expected CAT 2025 cut off based on last years’ cutoff.

CAT 2025 Cutoff : Top 10 IIM Acceptance Rate 2026 (Expected) based on previous years' data
IIM Ahmedabad acceptance rate varies between 0.12% for the general category candidates to 0.71% for the ST candidates out of those who applied for IIM Ahmedabad. On the other hand, the IIM Lucknow acceptance rate is between 0.33 to 1.89 %, depending on the category of the students. Overall, the top 10 IIMs have an acceptance rate of 0.12 to 22.8 per cent for the general category students. Looking at the trends of the previous years, IIM Mumbai has the highest acceptance rate among the general candidates with 22.8 per cent. In the IIM Admission 2024-2026 session, 0.06-15.61% of the students who had applied for the IIMs were selected from various other categories.

Since the CAT application form correction window is closed, you must contact the CAT help desk immediately to explain the situation, as you can't edit a wrong date of birth after submission. If it's a major error like date of birth, you may need to go to the exam center with proof and the correct admit card, although getting it corrected before the exam date is the most important first step.

You have to apply separately for each symbiosis college, like SIBM Pune, as they as not automatically included. The CAT form automatically includes many IIMs, but the SNAP exam is a separate test that is given for admission to Symbiosis Institute, which requires its own separate application and fee.
