The CAT 2025 admit card has been released on November 12, 2025, and is available for downloading till November 30, 2025. Previously, the IIM CAT admit card 2025 was going to be released on November 5, 2025. The CAT 2025 admit card will contain all the necessary information and guidelines for the exam day, such as the CAT exam centre and registration number. In case of PwD/DA, the admit card will contain instructions and the PwD status of the candidates, which must be checked by the candidate thoroughly to avoid any issues on the exam day. According to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, persons with benchmark disabilities are eligible for reservation under the reserved category of PwD. Here person with a benchmark disability means a person with not less than 40% of a specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms, and includes a person with disability where the specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority.
The following are the categories of disability:
Deaf and hard of hearing
Blindness and low vision
Locomotor disability, including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy.
Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness.
Other ‘specified disabilities’ mentioned in ‘The Schedule’ of the RPwD Act 2016.
Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d)
As the IIM Admit Card 2025 is out, here are some of the important instructions that need to be followed by the CAT 2025 PWD/DA candidates.
Scribe Affidavit- Candidates must have a scribe affidavit as prescribed on the IIM CAT website. The scribe's educational qualifications affidavit must be filled out and signed by both the scribe and the candidate.
Disability Certificate (PwD) Form V- Candidates must have this certificate in cases of amputation or complete permanent paralysis of limbs or dwarfism, and in cases of blindness.
Disability Certificate (PwD) Form VI- It is the form for multiple disabilities, which must be issued by the appropriate medical authority.
Disability Certificate (PwD) Form VII- For any other disability, which remained unmentioned in the above two forms (Forms V & VII), this form must be produced by the candidate.
There is no eligibility criterion for a scribe. Some guidelines to be followed by the candidates while selecting a scribe for the CAT 2025 exam are as follows:
Relative as a scribe is not acceptable.
The scribe must be an indian citizen.
The scribe should bring a copy of their Aadhaar card and a passport-sized photograph on the CAT 2025 exam day.
They must have the minimum qualification of secondary education.
They should not have any physical disability.
PwD/Da candidates will be given an extra 20 minutes per hour, which will come to a total of 40 minutes for the 2-hour CAT 2025 exam. The extra will be distributed equally for each section of the exam paper.
Apart from this, the CAT 2025 exam centres will provide a wheelchair and a magnifying screen, if required by any candidate.
Other special measures will include assistance devices and a scribe/ reader, which are to be arranged by the candidate themselves.

While the above testing assistance ar acceptable, the CAT exam centre will provide wheelchair assistance and a magnifying screen. The candidates are required to arrange for the other approved assistance methods.
For the visually impaired candidates, CAT 2025 test centres will provide a magnifying screen (system inbuilt feature) on request of the candidate.
Candidates can bring their own Abacus (without a calculator) for the CAT 2025 exam.
A scribe or a reader is allowed for candidates with visual impairments.
An extra 20 minutes per hour will be provided to the visually impaired candidates to complete the test.
For the candidate with visual impairment disability, the CAT exam will be designed not to contain any graphs, charts, or diagrams.
