CAT 2024 is one of the top MBA entrance exams conducted in India to seek admission at top IIMs and other b-schools in India. CAT 2024 registration and exam dates are yet to be announced. As per the reports, the IIM Calcutta will be conducting the CAT exam 2024. The CAT registration 2024 window is expected to open by August 2, 20024 and close by September 21, 2024. Candidates who passed a bachelor’s degree from an approved university or waiting for final year graduation results can fill out the CAT 2024 application form. Interested MBA aspirants who meet the CAT eligibility criteria can complete the CAT 2024 registration without waiting until the CAT 2024 registration date close date.
Follow the steps below to complete the CAT 2024 registration:
Step 1: Visit the CAT 2024 official website to apply for the CAT exam 2024, iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'New Candidate Registration' to create an account and generate CAT login credentials for future use. Enter the details like official name, DOB, email ID, mobile number and OTP to create an account.
Step 3: Use the CAT login credentials, email ID and mobile number to log in to the account.
Step 4: Candidates can fill out the CAT application form 2024 by entering their personal and academic qualification details clearly without any mistakes.

Step 5: Choose at least 6 CAT exam cities.
Step 6: Upload the necessary documents like the candidate’s photo and signature in the prescribed format and size.

Hello,
Getting admission to an IIM without taking the CAT is possible through alternative routes such as:
1. Executive MBA (PGPX,EPGP,ect .) : Many IIMs offer Executive MBA programs for experienced professionals, which may require GMAT scores instead of CAT .
2.Integrated programs: Some IIMs offer integrated programs like IPM (Integrated Program in Management), where admission cab be based on entrance exams other than CAT.
3.Doctoral programs (Ph.D.): Some IIMs accept GMAT/GRE scores for their doctoral programs .
4. Specialized Courses: IIMs offer various short-term and ccertificate programs that don't require CAT scores.

Generally admissions are given based on your rank. So based on your overall percentile in JEE your rank could be between 56470 - 63480 approximately.
Unfortunately, Based on the marks you scored, it will be difficult to get admitted into NIT Trichy under OBC category. However there is also a second chance for you to attend for JEE, so I recommend you to take that chance and score better.
