    IIMs, which typically accept lower CAT cutoffs include newer IIMs with some exceptions. Moreover, this clause also depends on the candidate’s category. The lowest cutoff of an IIM can go as low as 30-85 percentile for reserved categories, while they are generally higher for general categories.

    Q: Which is the cheapest IIM?

    IIM Sambalpur is known to have the lowest fees for its MBA program, approximately Rs. 13.08 Lakhs, which was for the 2025-27 batch. While other newer IIMs, such as IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Amritsar, also have low fees under Rs. 17 Lakhs.
