The sectional analysis of CAT 2019 is yet to be released by Bull’s Eye. However, last year, the overall difficulty level ranged from moderate to tough. Quantitative analysis was considered the most difficult while Verbal and Reading Comprehension provided some relief to the candidates.
CAT 2019 is a computer-based test conducted in two slots for MBA admissions in the reigning B-Schools of the country. The exam is conducted in two slots- forenoon and afternoon, for three hours each. The three sections of the exam are- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA) of 60 minutes each. Candidates will be required to answer 100 MCQs in each section. According to the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 3 marks for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response. It must be noted that the Non-MCQs and TITA (Type in the answer) questions will not have any negative marking.
CAT result 2019 will be announced in online mode in the first week of January 2020. Candidates will have to log in using their CAT user ID and password to obtain their result of CAT 2019 in the form of a scorecard. The CAT 2019 scorecard will include the candidate’s sectional and overall scaled scores and percentiles.
