To be considered for the IIM Bangalore PGP 2027-29 admission, candidates will have to secure the below-mentioned minimum CAT 2026 percentile. To be eligible for the IIM Bangalore selection process for the 2027-29 MBA session, candidates must clear the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned below.
A valid score in the CAT 2026 exam.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
For SC/ST and PwD candidates, the minimum required marks are 45% or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates who have completed their CA, ICWA, FIAI, or CS are also eligible to apply for PGP 2027-29.
The IIM Bangalore MBA selection process is divided into two stages. In the first stage, candidates have to submit the application for IIM Bangalore, after which they are considered for admission if they meet the eligibility criteria and have obtained the required minimum CAT 2026 score.
While the second stage of IIM B admission will consist of WAT and PI rounds. The WAT and PI rounds will be conducted on the same day at the same location. The WAT will be of 30 minutes and will be evaluated based on the content and style of the note.
For the initial PI shortlist, candidates who have secured a predetermined minimum score on all sections of CAT 2026 will be considered. The IIM Bangalore selection criteria for the final PI shortlist will be based on the following components.
