Basically nmat test is conducted for admission in NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru and all these colleges accepts more than 200 plus score in nmat for admission But I would suggest you to not take a drop year, try to get admission in private colleges with this score, I'm sure even in NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, you can get admissionā€¦ so I think you should take admission or drop another year and try to score more than 200 plus.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello,

To find your NMAT percentile using the scaled score, you should know that NMAT percentiles are only released after the testing window closes, based on how you and all other test-takers performed relative to each other. Scaled scores for each of the three sectionsā€”Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoningā€”are between 12ā€“120, and the overall is between 36ā€“360.

Percentiles show how your score compares with others, showing the percentage of candidates that you outperformed. GMAC calculates and publishes these percentiles with final results.

To check your percentile:

  1. After the declaration of results, log in to your NMAT account on the official portal.
  2. Percentiles do not directly come from the scaled scores but rely instead on overall test performance; therefore, trends from previous years or percentile predictors may serve as a rough guide.

For accurate information, visit the NMAT portal or official documentation for further information.

Hello,

For OBC candidates who aspire to secure admission in NMIMS and other private colleges that admit candidates on the basis of NMAT, the usual cut off percentile is

  • NMIMS Mumbai: 99+ percentile
  • NMIMS Bangalore: 98 percentile
  • NMIMS Navi Mumbai and other campuses: 90+ percentile

The scores may be considered in other private colleges if their cutoff percentile ranges from 80 to 90 percentiles according to the courses. Check out more at Careers360 here.

Given that your NMAT score is 200, percentile may be around 90+ (awaiting confirmation by official NMAT score vs percentile data released later). That would put you in a great position to look at many NMAT accepting colleges. Here's the step-by-step process:
