JBIMS Admission Process for Maharashtra Students
The JBIMS admission process for all Maharashtra candidates will include final shortlisting based on the percentile obtained in the CAT/CMAT or MAH CET exams. Below are the following steps.
Stage 1: Fill out the JBIMS Application Form
All candidates will be required to fill out the application form before or after registration for the MAH CET exam. In addition to this, all candidates will be required to attach the necessary documents related to their academics, work experience and extracurricular activities. This will ensure an early interview call and a higher chance of selection.
Stage 2: Go through GD, PI and WAT rounds
Next, candidates will be required to go through various rounds such as WAT (Written Ability Test), GA (Group Activity) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds, which will be conducted on relevant topics related to MMS admissions.
Stage 3: Final Decision
In case the candidate is selected in the final round, they will receive a final admission offer letter. All candidates can expect the final offer letter within 3-4 weeks after the interview.
JBIMS Admission Process for Non-Maharashtra Students
JBIMS offers 18 seats for All-India candidates, which are open to students from any state, and there are no further caste-based quotas for these 18 seats. Go through the following steps to find out the admission process for non-Maharashtra students.
Step 1: After the release of the MAH CET, CMAT or CAT results, and in case the student is shortlisted, they will have to register themselves for the MAH CAP
(Centralised counselling process). In this, the student will be required to submit all their documents. The process typically begins in July-August
Step 2: Next, the JBIMS will consider the academic performance and the work experience of the candidate. Candidates with a strong academic record, relevant work experience may have a higher chance of getting admission.
Step 3: After the conclusion of the GD, PI rounds, a final merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance, which will include the entrance exam score, GD and PI performance, academic background and other relevant factors.
