How to Calculate XAT 2026 Marks and Percentile

To understand how many marks a candidate has scored in the XAT 2026 exam, candidates must understand the XAT exam marking scheme. The XAT 2026 score is calculated based on the number of correct answers and incorrect answers. Candidates can go through the following steps to understand how the XAT 2026 marks will be calculated.

  • 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

  • A deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for every wrong answer.

  • 0.10 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question after 8 skipped questions.

For example, if a candidate answered 99 questions out of which 80 questions are correct and 3 are incorrect, and left 16 questions unanswered, then their total marks will be as follows,

(80x1) - (3x0.25) - [(16-8)x 0.10)] = 76

The XAT 2026 percentile will be calculated based on the scores and ranking of the candidates who appeared for the XAT 2026 exam. Here is how one can calculate the XAT percentile.
